Some good racing tonight apart from me getting ROBBED () at Valencia!

Speak to you guys Monday or Tues, have a good weekend đź‘Ť

Hi all, Ellis is a sweet, generous, sensitive kind of guy. His unparalelled knowledge of motor cars (and females) are beyond compare.

Oh and his mum is really cool too đź‘Ť

Now go and drive in his championship, as long as it doesnt get in the way of this :)

I have pretty much got Spurgey To pull from the other side of the country  That is why you shall join ;)

The Update in GT5 made the FFB soooooo much better!
I hate it, it feels like they have taken off the power steering and lessened the Feedback strength.

berty - you always crack me up, first corner from the back of the grid i saw a car doing doughnuts on the apex and then saw the Welsh flag above it and just couldn't stop laughing  you must have the worst luck with the AI

falcon - I heard someone say that i spun you on turn 1 at Montreal but i was a few car lengths behind you and didn't make contact, maybe you just got on the gas a little early on the worn out Super Softs.

Actually I think Matts been the most helpful :P
Matt is of no use. Who started it all off? And with matts 'help' Whos hasnt got certain someones number

Artmann- The AI was nowhere near. It was a puny minded Englishman way too late on the brakes who took me out!!!! Probably because Ellis was calling him... :D

I'm taking a little break from career mode after what happened at Spa. Qualified 14th 1.7s off the pace. In the race (very wet) on lap 1, me and Alonso were fighting for position on the back 'straight' (flat out in the dry before bus stop chicane). In the part where you have to turn left reasonably hard, me and Alonso were side by side. I lost the back of the car a little and tried to correct. Normally I would've saved it fine losing only a couple of tenths, but because Alonso was alongside I ended up spinning us both out into the wall. We both were terminally damaged. Finished 23rd.

Luckily for me, the gap between me and 2nd (Alonso) is still 67points, so I think I'll probably pull off the title :) Should be close though, as I'm that quick at any of the last 7 tracks (except Singapore), and I haven't really drove on any of those tracks in a few months

No I just spun due to worn tyres and the setup not being quite right.

Indy- That bit was highly amusing :)

jcm- You have it in the bag if you avoid contact for the remaining races đź‘Ť

falcon- You, SM and Artmann are fast (as I suspect is jcm) its going to take a lot of practice by us newcomers to get anywhere near you lot :nervous:

Brett - Yes and I'll join in I felt helpless in my own track against Art Mann and spamming Sao Paulo won't help your progress

Indy- Ahahaa. You caught me, its only because I think its the best track. Did you notice it was on the list last night? :D

Falcon- amen to that đź‘Ť

Montreal is one of my fav tracks. I'm not the fastest but it's a very smooth track. Valencia was fun too.

Its not too hard to learn, thats why I like it. My car felt poor in a couple of corners though, I need a tune for that one.

Really? I don't like it, nearly all of the corners are chicanes. Which I have never been able to get right, on any racing game :(

I also hate chicanes, I was losing so much time to Artmann and Falcon at the last one, the game allows you to cut a bit which is where the problem lies, how much is ok?

Hmm, i find that if you keep two wheels on the track on the 1st chicane, there is no need to cut the 2nd one as your car is already pointing towards the wall of champions, and if you get on the gas as soon as you touch the 1st, the speed you are doing will make it almost impossible to get anywhere near the 2nd chicane. I take that chicane in 4th gear which is a much higher gear but it will prevent cutting the 2nd chicane which is where you usually get a warning even if you have 2 wheels on the track.
I hope my cheating strategy will help others :D

Thought we were racing today. :dunce:

Good job really as I have had no time to practice, and I really need practice.
