I agree; I don't like how the wheels turned out, they look like rubbish :(

If it was the front wheels then you could get away with it because they can turn, but with the rear wheels you need to get it spot on. When looking above, in that drawing the tyres would look like this:

And for my car design, unfortunately it has 370Z written all other it :lol: . I'll get an image of it up here soon but it's just a rough sketch.

Hope you don't mind the advice..but man this picture has all the ingredients of being good. But it suffers terribly from being rushed, such nice colors and proportions but so so sloppy. Like the foreground is all over the place, and you didn't even fill in the front wheel arch all the way. Next time try working at it a little at a time, an hr here or there and focus on clean smooth pencil strokes. And if you get irritated just take a break.

It just makes it look fishy when the shading doesn't add up to the perfect proportions. But from a distance it looks alright, you have the reflections and colors in the right parts of the body work. it's just not clean.
 
One thing I'd like to suggest next time is to not darken the shadow on the side fender of the car by blatantly scribbling on some black. It shows straight out that you laid it down on top, and I personally really dislike looking at that.

What you can try to do is lightly putting on layers of black, going back to the blue, and then back to black. you can repeat the step however much you like, but I imagine, going twice per colour is enough. This way it blends the colours together rather than covering it up.
 
And I'd add to that to again remember to move your pencil in one direction. That really cleans out the stuff.
 
So um...I noticed we stopped drawing toons.

Let's see now. We've tooned a old muscle car, and a hatchback, how about we toon either one of the following?

-Race car
-Commercial-use Vehicle
-Riced up Japanese car

Though obviously, if you're referring to Cano, then i'm sure you know by now that he's just a top secret Skunk-Worx human hybrid 'Denso' robotic armed (pause for breath...) Toon drawing machine. :D You did know that right?

Pretty much same here (can't participate), got to finish this T-shirt design for some ice-cream company that will be working at an upcoming VW fest.

 
haha,m I left the sketch at work and I'm on vacation, so until next week, nothing.

EDIT: OMFG I love the ice cream.
