More modds - I don't remember the cam specs, but it higher lift and duration than stock. It had the stock iron heads, but they were ported. The cylinders were bored .060" over. Roller rockers, solid lifters, modified single plane aluminum intake to work with the hood. K&N air filter, all Aeroquip braided lines and AN fittings, all vacuum systems rebuilt and working properly (lights and wiper door).

What was the transmission you used with 5 speed overdrive? So its an automatic? Do you even know what overdrive is?

I don't care what you say, everybody is entitled to their own opinions... your just happens to be wrong, i spent literally half of my life working on/ around/in the car i know what I'm talking about, albeit i don't know parts that we installed, but I didn't spend hours researching and ordering my dad did that, this is now an off topic forum, I've gathered the information I wanted from it now its closed i don't need to be pissed off at something that someone else doesn't understand, so why continue?

I don't understand? Listen buddy I've built up 3 engines and been around the block a few times so you can claim what you wish but from what you've me from your build is a downright lie. Sure you built a motor. Doesn't get you gods gift for gas mileage. For the heads, why do you think aftermarket exists? Its not opinion, its fact with 50 years worth of tests to back it up so actually know what you're talking about before you say something. I personally don't give a rats ass how long you spent on it when you try to bull:censored: me.

Keisler Tremec tk-600 5 speed and no I actually don't, big deal, I didn't own the car, my dad did, I didn't have a goal to fix it up, my dad did, I didnt order and research parts, my dad did, the only area I helped in was putting it together, so why flame me? I think you "happens" to be incorrect. Maybe check your stats again. You already made one mistake with the 30 MPG figure, saying you don't 🤬 things up, but you did.

So look over again and see if you're right or if you're making it all up.

Yea but its a van... theres a hell of a lot more surface area on a van than a late 60's vette

Point being a decently built V8 isn't going to come close, at least old pushrods, no matter the brand

Even Wikipedia says in stock form you'll get 14.8 Sobeing built you eithe gained 1mpg, broke even or lost some.
