**CAR OF THE WEEK! Friday 04/05/12**

Well done. Has anyone added all mods yet? I haven't looked at the options yet, so I don't know what it can do on SSRX turned to 11.

I did put a stage 2 turbo on her, that took the numbers up to 185hp/402pp and took her back out to the a-spec 5 lapper at Tsukuba that resulted in two second drop in fast lap and 10 seconds off the event. I did install a sports suspension and drop it all the way down to reduce body roll and power sliding out of the corners. Thats right, I said power sliding in reference to an Isuzu 117...hey, it can happen :sly:

I think I may tune mine tonight, just for kicks. It looks good in Cannon, an Isuzu color, and with new wheels. The pics I took in my review don't do the color justice.

What do you get when a truck driver comes home, everyone is a sleep, and a no limit budget in GT5 for the COTW?

First some screen shots, tune to follow in the next few days :dopey:

Its a very pretty car. Looks very similar to the Fiat Dino coupé.

Not really surprising really they were both designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, they could be sisters.

Wow. A car I knew nothing about but have really grown to love, loads of great reviews and pics, some from newcomers to the thread...

This could be the best COTW ever! But of course I hope it isn't, 'cos I am sure there are loads of awesome ones to come.

I still encourage more people to contribute though, even if they hate the car. I love a good car-argument.

^^I was gonna guess babies.^^ Paint and rims look awesome. Great combo.

Two daughters is enough for me

Bring on the next!!!

If anyone is interested, if the OCD thread is correct there are three classics available from last nights update. The Fiat 500-F '65, 500-L '69 and the 500-R '72. Well, three models of the same car anyway. I will grab them when I get home from work, they look kind of like golf carts...with tops :sly:

Yes, bring on the next 👍

I had a "cargument" with the misses last night, she had gone to fast over a speed bump and had managed to pull part of the exhaust off. Women and machinery, not a good mix.
Also it would really help as well if she took it for a wash once in a while, instead of expecting it to miraculously get cleaned (like it does because I take it to be valeted every so often). GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

The 117 in action:
Overtaking the lead car at Grand Valley East...incorrect 👎

And the Audi RS4 had no problems taking the most recent 500pp challenge at Indy road course :)

So much for posting pics from photobucket :grumpy:

Sorry for the extra posting guys, I'll get this forum figured out sooner or later if they don't kick me off first!

Lets try this again, the Isuzu 117 in action in this weeks a-spec challenge at Grand Valley East circuit. Overtaking the lead car in the final turn complex exhibit A...incorrect

And exhibit B...correct

And it looks like I may have this photo thingy figured out :)

My late 117 review and pics.

This is one of the best looking cars in the game I think and a good drive even of it is slower than most and has some soft suspension.

After an oil change mine had 120bhp and it was off to the usual Nurburgring test.

Lap time was a pretty slow 9:53 in the end although I wasn't pushing it.

Next test was at Tsukuba where there was lots of body roll.

I think this car looks great in the bright yellow.

Great job guys. Can't wait to view the pics on something other than my phone.

Now show us what you can do with a Slomaro... I mean Camaro.

I attempted the 400pp with the 140bhp/360pp car but could only manage 4th.

I got the other car, gave it oil, stage 1 engine and weight, mid range turbo and air intake and exhaust parts to get it just over400pp. I added a few kg of ballast to bring it down. Bhp is around 180.

The mid turbo and stage 1 actually works well with the stock 'box and it would probably top out 128mph maybe 130, but it doesn't quite reach this on GVE.

With a distinct lack of imagination I used Krenkme's idea and painted the car a pearl white!

I went to adjustable sports suspension as I couldn't get the win - dropped it and added some camber. Was tighter on the turn in and body roll reduced. Took the lead Clio on the final turn and out dragged it for a 1.2 sec win.

A satisfying drive, this will become a regular 400pp contender. 👍
