You should maybe take a "break" from GTPlanet.net... maybe for 2 days, like the one I had. It sure brought me up to speed with the rules of this forum!

You don't need Car Town friends to help you with work bays, any friend will do. Or if your no having enough people come, just click on the work bay and you will have options on what to do.
