Cars from GT4 you want and don't want in GT5...

Yup, losing used cars isn't a popular idea. Not only loses some absolutely fantastic cars (older Skylines, Integra Rs etc) but also all the classics that PD are steadily including.

Again I'd reiterate that there's no car that's been in a previous GT that I wouldn't like to see in GT5, even though it's unlikely they'll all make it.

I should expand on my perhaps negative earlier post in this thread, and apologies to those I offended, if that's the correct word. The reason I'm not keen on the idea of suggesting what people don't want is because it invites discussions that we've had again and again on this forum which get particularly tiresome - i.e. someone will come in and say that they should get rid of all the small cars (when many members of the forum, myself included, love their presence), or that there are too many Skylines (true, but done to death). And to my knowledge, there are plenty of threads as to what cars people would like to see in GT5.

-> Another thread about "Cars that you don't want" thread... :indiff:

-> I dislike threads like this, it is like filtering out cars that "we don't like" in GT. There are countless threads that carry the same topic and it really pisses me off.

BT-> Oh well, here are my share:

Cars I want to be in GT5
-> All the cars from GT1/2/3/4/5P to be carried over onj GT5

Cars I don't want in GT5
-> NONE!

^ How's that!? :grumpy:

To be fair to him I think he means remove "used cars" option but not remove the cars themselves, like in GT3 you bought all cars in the dealers all with zero kilometers (miles).

I am strongly opposed to this idea also, used cars is awesome.

I want to see all of the cars from GT4 in GT5, but especially all the Aussie cars. Such as the Holden Monaro and the Holden Commodore SS.

speaking of used cars if visable mods and damage comes. Some(i mean only 1 in 30) used cars could be lightly modded and some (one in 50) damaged(just like a dent on the side).

Well said - đź‘Ť .

We all have our likes and dislikes of certain cars , but older cars and used cars , ( IMO ) are a must have , after all , nobody is forcing you to buy a car that you do not like.

I thought one of the main points why we all like Gran Turismo is the huge car list. So with this in mind, why would you want to reduce it? Its highly unlikely for any of us to have driven all of the cars, so there must be some cars you haven't driven, so...why not just drive the cars you want to drive? What does it matter if theres cars you don't like? The game isn't tailored for one person.
The only thing that is perhaps undesirable is the huge amount of repeats of what is essentially the same model car with slight variations, but thats been discussed to death and generally goes without saying nowadays.

Jay Leno Tank Car and Nike One, please keep that away from GT5!!!!!

More used cars are welcome, the ones of GT4 are fine, but more American and European models wouldn´t hurt IMO

All of the Racing cars from GT3 and GT4 should be in, so should the Espace F1, all 3 GT-One's.

Cars i dont want in are...um...there are to many to note.

I am on same level as -ultraflow- I want all the cars from GT4 into 5

This car is top of my list so far. I would love to see it appear in GT5 as well from day one! The interior, beautiful exterior! oi!!!
190E EVO II M-B

Now your talking , thats a car car. My uncle has one :D

I went back to playing GT4 today on the PS2, as my PS3 is in Sony's hands at the moment getting a new graphics card..... anyway

I think we are all getting a little on a bit of a tangent from the OP intention.

I really hope a Zonda makes the cut!!! I want to listen to that engine roar!

Its a fact of life (as PD have suggested) that we are going to take a hit in the amount of cars that are going to come with GT5. Hopefully as more get modelled they will become available on the PSN - for free nobody knows.

I suggest (not that PD will really heed this suggestion) that the same amount of car companies and regions are in the game, just less vehicles from each, that way we still have variety.

I'm sure he means useless, as in not able to race. This statement I agree with...of course I still like driving them around the tracks.

@ saint_dracula

i don't understand your problem with the ruf 3400S it was one of the best MR cars in GT4
it was very easy too make great drifts with it, for the rest of your list i don't have problems

It depends on the concept cars he refers to I guess. To my knowledge, there were only a couple (Nike One and Toyota MTRC) that couldn't be raced, but then nor could a few of the real cars either. The majority of concept cars could be raced.

I don't see the point in removing any cars that were previously in. It adds variety and for one person who doesn't want them in there might be hundreds that do. If you don't want to drive it then don't. Simple!

I agree with leaving the fantasy cars out somewhat. I enjoyed driving the Nike ONE but it was a shame you were limited to what you could actually use it in.

Cars I want. They have been in before in previous versions. The Toyota Starlet GT Turbo and Toyota Starlet Glanza V. Great fun, plus i own one!

I would like to see again the Suzuki Cultus Pikes Peak and of course the Escudo, but now with HD Graphics.
