Nope, it is a big car. Certainly one of the larger crossovers on sale at the minute.

I've driven one, and the only dimension about it that was large was the headroom. In fact, it's shorter (length-wise) than the current Golf. ;)

The mysteries of modern car design. The high belt-line, blobby dimensions and thick bumpers aren't doing much to shave off visual weight, though.
 
So wait, is that an actual color for the Countryman? I've also seen one in hot pink.
