Cars won't steer properly

My cars went from awesome with great handling to nonexistent handling and when i go to make even small turns i have to come to a complete stop to turn. This applies to all my cars. I think I played B-Spec before this happening. How can I fix this?

Online physics are different than offline. Do a search, it seems pretty well documented. I don't do enough online racing to comment on how to fix it.

Edit: Read it wrong. I have no idea what your problem is.

How on Earth can we possibly know what's up with your game?

You turn and the car stops. Not much information to go on I'm afraid.

Do you install the updates? Check the car set-up? Check the race options? Do a chassis maintenance if required?

If you need help then you need to be more specific about what you've done and what is happening.

How is this a tuning question ?

Your obviously doing something wrong or your joypad / wheel is broken.

Spec 2 changed the physics. I have a mini tune which I and other agreed was awesome than spec 2 hit and someone told me it suddenly sucks. I went back and hand to change everything a little to make it better like before. Online is always different than offline, but since spec 2 it's not as different. This is good because now when you make a tune it will work offline and online pretty much the same, but bad because any tunes before spec 2 may not be as good and have strange turning/braking points like you mentioned.

have never played online, the car doesn't turn like it used to and i have to almost come to a standstill to turn it.

True, but his problem sounds a bit too extreme for that to be the problem. I didn't have to change my tunes that much. The way he's making it sound, it sounds like something is wrong with his wheel/controller. Almost having to stop to turn, as he puts it.

have tried a couple contollers and joystick then left/right arrows.

gotta tune to turn imo

More information will get you a better answer . Otherwise we will have to assume that you don't have a clue what you are doing & / have only tried to use your peripherals on one car , ( Which probably is too quick for you / you turned off ABS etc etc.... )

I could go on all night but with the lack of info you're giving out , you'll never get a good answer i'm afraid.

Plus - No car in GT5 reacts that way after a B-Spec race .
You've changed a setting somewhere , most likely ABS.

He has said he has never hooked his PS3 up to the internet therefor he is missing all the updates. Maybe that could be part of the problem.

That wouldn't affect his data / handling though as nothing has been changed in my opinion . 👍

I.E - Nothing has been altered on his disc .
