With the limited tools you have used Atlop, that photo proves amazing.

It just goes to show that this comp is about photo-taking skills; composition, effect etc., not just photo-editing. 👍

Thanks 👍 I think it's a nice enough photo, too bad PD did not spend many polygons when they made the model of that NSX. Guess the market price of those was up that day. :indiff:

If it was a photo of a sports car by some other Japanese car maker *cough* Nissan *cough* it would look much better. :grumpy:

I'm seriously enjoying seeing these awesome entries, but midnight riot, you may not add your name or borders..

Amazing work Empty Space, exactly what i was looking for 👍

This comp. should be very interesting...hope to be like this every weeks.

I went ahead and submitted this entry without a border cause I wasn't sure. Are borders not allowed??

Borders are indeed not allowed, usually name is not allowed either, but since this is the first competition i will allow it, but next week no names. 10 entries so far, it's good to see so much interest.

I'm going to have a hard time to deciding, but that is what makes it so fun.

Atlop how do you get blurring like that?

Just select a camera angle where you can zoom in a lot, then manual focus to the car and set the aperture thing to 1.4 or something like that. That's basicly it. Then of course it depends on what you have in the background behind (or in front) of the car.

All the best entries so far have been of portrait style, so I have opted for a landscape-esque pic.

P.S - Why did Ayrton Senna and Honda motor co. have to make the NSX so damn sexy?

Let's set this straight, is any other type of image editing allowed, apart from brightness and contrast?

Because I'm seeing a couple of pics that have had more treatment than that, so I want to be sure of what's allowed before I submit my entry.

Allowed Tools are:

Brightness/Contrast (To give your pic a better lighting)
Resizing/Cropping
Clone stamp, to remove the GT4 Watermark.

So, basically that's it.

Ok, thanks for your fast reply, clearing it up.

Btw, there have been entries already that MAY have used the smudge tool, so it's probably a good idea to warn everyone about that, so no one gets disqualified thinking they were within the rules...

Beerzgood, i don't think anybody so far has overran the rules, and if so i always pm :)

I took sooo many pictures of my NSX at the Burg, gonna take awhile to narrow it down to one. My entry will most likely be in the next day or so. :D

Good to see the competition is going so well Ray. 👍

I did'nt meant to say someone had, I just said someone might have, that's why I emphasized (sp?) the word 'may'. :)

I have been away from this a while buy it´s sort of nice to be back. And folks, DO NOT underestemaite the power of "the car wash" and note the text on the track infront of the car :sly:

Nice one, M3. And indeed, try a 3000gt MR with 10x washing and then drive it on New York, you'll be stunned, believe me.

I might get into this week, I don't if I'll have any time today though...I'll do my best 👍

Just wondering if we are allowd to change our final entry?

Here is mine, was hard picking it. I ended up taking 58 photos.

I thought this one looked good, and different from the other entries.

Another great amount of good entries, but guys you’re not going to make it easy for me, which I like.
