I don't think I will be able to get mine in on time. There's just too much work on it, I think I'll be taking my time on it, and post it later in my gallery or something 👍

I had to enter this one, M3's my favorite car after all. I think it's self indulgent crap personally. :D

I don't know why but I always expected your red one. It's made so many appearances in the past.

I also had to enter Swiss, love the M3. Love the new license plate. :sly:
I had a nice idea, but it didn't really turn out very well. Didn't have the time to try it again so I had to go with this shot, it came out alright.

Woah, the colors are soooo good and the road is so tasty!

As for my idea, it didn't turn out any good either. The angle looked better in-game, and it's the first time I've tried to make a starfield in Photoshop so be a little easy on me pretty-please :D I don't expect to win with Moglet and Tangled Web's entries :scared:

FINAL ENTRY

Falling stars, quick! Make a wish! :P

BTW: Anyone know of some sweet fonts that go well with starfield and space backgrounds? Some futuristic fonts perhaps?

Thanks S-Line and Bram. Do you me to cut you a piece of that road Bram. Mmmmm tasty. :D

Your entry is sweet, wish I thought of that. :sly: It's really well done, the only thing I would say is maybe there is too many stars. Other than that, it is superb. Love the colour's, you got my vote buddy. 👍

Thanks bud, as I said it's the first I've ever done anything like it, and you won't believe how many times I've been complaining on those damned tutorials; "Damn you, what?! It does not happen like it says! IT DOES NOT!" But today, it finally went like I wanted. I know it's a bit over the top, but I love space and futurism, and since there were no rules, I thought a couple of stars too much wouldn't hurt :D

Thanks again 👍

Haha, I know what you mean. Hate it when you are trying a tutorial and it comes out nothing like it is supposed too.
It doesn't hurt at all, I still love it. You did a great job for your first time. Maybe I'll add some stars to my entry. :sly:

I'm still working on mine also -- stupid PS was being laggy yesterday.

Alright then. I don't have any more time to work on this. If I did, I would...Many areas I would improve. But...this will do. I went for artsy

Final Entry

While I was working on it, I had the thought of the news bulletin "Seattle after the great Gran Turismo 5 riot of 2009, after it was announced that Gran Turismo 5, a popular racing video game, was delayed until 2012"

TW, Bram, and longbow...a big 👍 to you three. Amazing stuff.
Bram, love the star field. Very creative.
Longbow, great damage! That would truly happen if GT5 were postponed.
TW, Even though it didn't come out how you wanted, it's quite lovely. It has great clarity, and the road looks yummy. :sly:

This is a result of about 12 Photos, and some playing in Photoshop.
It really does look much better in full-resolution.

Very nice shot and editing there! The only bit I don't like is the colour balance and the blurriness of the car. It's a good idea though.

The color balance was that natural one that the car had with the scenery; the car was rebrushed in places, so it wouldn't surprise me that you find it a little blurry. I actually tried to sharpen it with a finer brush too. Ehh.. oh well :D

Thanks for the comments and compliments :D

Edit - SweetShop; I think I spent.. 1-2 hours on it, give or take figuring out what I actually wanted to do, and seeing how things fit, and looking through potential donor images. Most of which didn't work out; as I was originally going to change the sky, and not do what I did.. basically. lol
I think it worked out tho :)

Very nice entries from everybody thus far; we will have quite the poll I think :D

LongBow:

I love every Pixel.

Thanks so much. ^^

suzq044: I really love your entry...I just find it delectable. ^^ Creative. Makes me wish I could think of things that unique.

And you're right - this is will be quite a poll.

suz: without the laser lights, i'd like it alot more. they just seem weird to me. 100% otherwise.

LongBow: unique? you made a post apocalyptic RIOT shot, with a trashed car. bout as unique as it gets.

I actually like the "laser lights", they're my favourite part. Maybe I just like weird. Which...doesn't surprise me. ^^;

I dunno if it's that unique, I thought it wasn't...kind of "typical". Maybe that's because I didn't like it as much because I ran out of time to work on it. Otherwise I would have a added a crushed cabin, which I was going to work on next. XD

dammit i cant think of anything !!!!!!!!

I have that problem with the "dirty racing" unedited shot. >_<

It's a long-exposure shot, being attached to the car.. so you'll see the light-trails and blurry background, with a clear car. That was pretty much the shot I had in mind .. to put it in context, kind of .. [HERE]
