CE-38700-8 error

I got error. "An error occurred in the following application (CE-38700-8), Gran Turismo Sport". This error appeared just before beginning the final in Daily Race. After restart it didn't appear again. Was this error happened only once? I hope so. Did you experience this problem?

Had that probably 2 or 3 times since GTS came out... no further problems after, guess it is just a connection error so boots you out of the race

Happens all the time, just to different people. Before and after the race is common, but it can strike anywhere, like just trying to watch replays. Seems to happen most when there are connectivity issues with the servers.

In every race yesterday someone, sometimes as many as four people "left" during the warm up, also more (including me once) "left" after the race but before the final result screen, no doubt mostly due to this error.

Yes this was before most started reporting problems but it is likely related. I've had it and seen it many other times too, there was just more of it going on yesterday.

I lost count to how many blue screen errors I had since October.

Today I left the game in the main menu to go have some lunch. Came back, it was looping replays and scapes. I clicked circle and got one those errors.

Sometimes it comes up before you even get to the warm up, sometimes after, whether you ran or not. Also during or after the race is possible, basically it can happen at any time. It's some sort of connection problem/conflict at the other end which causes the crash.

Of course it was probably the first time I skipped the warm up so I'll never do that again.

Getting the same ce-38700-8 and can't get past the intro video. Has anybody found a solution yet????

Sucks man had this happen numerous times as well loosing allot of DR and SR in the progress.

Ok, so uh I've been lurking here for like 4 years, finally time to make an account to say:

I just crashed out of the Top 24 Race loading into qualifying.

I can personally assure you that this was the most disheartening thing in the world. /s

Oh well.. There's always next week.

I used to crash to blue screen about ~2 times per 3 hour session since the game came out up until last week. The last 7-10 days, I've crashed a total of maybe once.

Happened to me twice today, once after saving and quitting the livery editor and second time was after quiting the discover section.
