This photo is intense, how do you get such stunning pictures?

Magic Glad you like them, I generally go for something in between realism and eye-popping and a lot of people seem to like it. Just about all of my images have a lot of color balancing, sharpness and detail enhancement, noise and vignetting. When taking photos in-game I always experiment with different shutter speeds, aperture levels and angles until I find something I like. I usually don't use filters.

It is HDR indeed! Glad you like the composition, I'm generally no good with portrait shots... though my next update (scroll down) has two

Photomatix indeed. The UI is a bit ugly and clunky but it gets the job done
