Championship cancelled due to parents, extremely slow internet..

Remember guys, you can qualify for the race BUT I need some sort of varification that you were not using illegal systems (just record your fastest lap in any way you can with the HUD and all on and send it to me in any way so I can check it and deem it (il)legal :D )

Well tightening up the rear spring plus TCS and some toe got this rear-end to do little better. I at-least have a baseline to keep racing this chassis. 👍

This goes for me, as well. I'll steward for the series, but, after iRacing, I'm not sure I'm taking part. You guys are too fast, and I'm out-of-control, because I've adjusted to iRacing physics. As normal, it's better to stay out of the way, than it is to cause a crash.

So, send me your replays, and I'll PM rallymorten with the details, if RM isn't available. I can do this on Fridays.

This comment disappeared. Sort of.

If 2 others witnessed my time but it wasn't recorded can it be used,

I think it was a 1.03.840, was it Joe?

This time seems reasonable, for a Formula 3000 driver. :sly: Otherwise, there's always the other option, "PM MrM for session on Friday" or otherwise "PM rallymorten."

Anyways, goodnight lads.

Yup, the safest ways are:

1: do it in race mode so you can save the replay and record it later
2: PM one of us to (hopefully) arrange a qualifying
3: have at least 2 withnesses that can give a specific time (this is probably the unsafest)

Sleep well Mel

*Hush little baby, don't say a word..* :sly:

I'm like you there Joe, I did not know TCS was allowed. I might have to give it another try now.

So, Joe had a time of 1:03,936 and Dave a 1:03,840. So for now the grid looks:

Dave
Joe
the rest

Well for Q:

Make a 3 lap race where you or Mel watch the Driver.
Save the Replay and rewatch it for cutting things or other stuff.

Thats the easiest way for you to varifiy it. My 2 cents :D

I spent time in my lounge with the Mercedes yesterday afternoon tweaking my set up and getting the gearing just right. I probably ran a dozen 3 lap races with my best time a 1:04.8

I will be there for sure as long as my estimate of a 1 PM east coast start time is correct 👍

Also I'd like to add that while setting up my lounge for the practice races, I found that there was a great deal of information I was lacking relative to the settings and parameters of the race. Maybe this info exists somewhere in the thread but it should be listed in the OP. I am referring to all the miscellaneous settings like damage, draft, grip level, aides or not etc.

I did see that a mandatory pit stop is required between 25% and 75% of the race distance .... what is the race distance ? I'd like to do the required math before the race instead of while I'm driving :dopey:

Strange.. I thought it was there.. It is now anyway 👍

Races are 100kms, so in the case of GV East it'll be 33 laps, which means pit window is from lap 8 to lap 27, both included :)

If we don't get more official qualifying times before the race we'll do one-shot qualifying, which means each driver will get 1 timed lap. This means we'll reset the track, all enter it, and do our run at the same time. REMEMBER TO KEEP DISTANCE I don't know how many times I've said this to the WRC drivers and yet we have carnage . If you're caught doing more than one qualifying lap you'll be disqualified from the race so park it in the side as soon as possible :)

I read that mandatory rule so wrong the first race, I thought I had to pit twice, 1 around 25% and at 75% lol so I pitted 3 times and still got 3rd Bahaha, prepare for a corker

Isn't COMMUNICATION a wonderful thing :sly::sly:

Still no official mention of what aides can or can't be used ?

Ah Ha !! I see it now :dunce: I must have read the OP dialog a dozen times so I can't explain my oversight ..... must be getting old :scared:

Hey guys just wanted to see what is p1 q time thanks

Dave and Joe have 1.03.8 and 1.03.9 respectively.

I don't think that will be pole though as I've just been practicing and hit 1.03.9 in the M3 GTR and 1.03.5 in the TT and I know there's faster guys than me out there.

if the race was today joe it would be in another 12 hours I think,
