In my opinion one of the main reasons why somebody who is interested in racing games.Because Forza and PGR:3 have the big three people who have the option of either buying an Xbox360 and dealing with the tricky controller but having some of their favourite cars outweighs buying a Ps3 and staying loyal to GT5(as painful as it is). An alternative for Kaz to think about is to continue on the tuners side of the Big three. Hamann tune both Ferrari's and Lambourghini's. Unfortuneately Hamann only tune the Gallardo and the 360 and F430. Gemballa(who featured in Mc3: DubED) tune almost every porsche. They even tune the Carrera GT which has somewhere in the region of 700HP. This means that we get the big three-ish- and we have them pre-modified. Now i am a purist and if i had anything to do with it we would have the pure versions of the big three. But if GT5 cannot get the licenses for them then these are our options.
Also those who say they do not care if the big three do not appear i don't believe you. GT series claim to be 'The real driving simulator'. People have been known to test drive cars they intend to purchase on GT4 before actually driving them. They say the similarities are uncanny. This means that those of us who may find it a bit impossible to get to test drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini or Porsche can have the experience of the fantastic noise and their handling, acceleration etc. Yes there is a point that you won't pay more for the big three being in the game. But you would definetely be happy they were there.
The big three are very important to the game in my opinion. But there are other companies which are more important than the big three in terms of driving and racing. Who here would not like the chance to drive a Bugatti Veyron from the comfort of their own home? I would. When the Ps3 is finally released and hopefully GT5 is the launch game then i think PD have a real fight on their hands to persuade customers away from the Xbox360 with Forza 2 and the possibility of PGR:4 and toward the Ps3 and GT5. I think that containing the Big Three despite the form which they are produced will help sway the chance on to PD side if they get them right(they usuaully do).

For the last time, you can not do that.
Hamann, and others all follow a strict licensing rule.

If you include the Hamann F40 or Hamann Gallardo, and you don't have Ferrari's or Lamborghini's licensing or permission, prepare to be in court.

I beg to differ, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsce are not the only area where other racers have the upper hand on GT, and the other areas are far more importnant to get sorted imo than a few extra cars.

Agreed, but that like turning down the cure for other STDs in the hopes of curring AIDS... Why not solve the little problems, while in the mean time still chassing the elusive other problems... As for the licence thing... They are open correct? For the time being, I know. But in the business world, you deal with whom ever will give you the cash. If they're open, PD have just as much of a chance to get them as any other... Correct? Unless MS are willing to simply pay what ever price and agree to what ever terms these companies want... Fine, I can see that not working. However, there should at the very least be an effort made by PD... If it's simply a numbers game, there really is no reason why they can't swing a deal...

As for the Buggati thing... Of course I want those as well, as well as the Maseratis, Bentleys, McLarens and Koenigseggs. But as this was about the big three, I stayed on those as the focus and less on the others... But yes, Buggatis would be an amazing addition as well...👍 I posted before that any of these companies would also tide me over, if they couldn't swing the big three... I just want more supercars in general...

Definitely. The sheer enjoyment of driving a mint-condition Ferrari Mondial, Lamborghini Jalspa, or Porsche 944 would just be georgeous...

Ferrari, Porsche, and Lamborghini could simply put in their agreement with Polyphony Digital that the cars could be used but no modifications are allowed. Just like the Gran Turismo Formula car. Problem solved.
