Chassis Swap List

Mitsubushi Lancer Evo IX GSR on Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupe '00 chassis isnt a too bad combo.

Should been a little wider tho :/ dont know what cars might be those few mm wider.

EDIT! Figured that the EVO IX RM will do just perfect with about 3,4-4 camber, perfect poke <3

Pic tomorrow

managed to find a few good chassis for some lesser stanced cars. :P

Suzuki Swift > Ferrari 330 P4. Surprisingly a good match, with little to no camber adjustment. 👍

Citroen C4 > C4 WRC or Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car '02. Sadly I still have yet to find a perfect chassis for this car. The TT-R chassis was kinda perfect out rear, but the front needed some camber to make it fit nicely under the fender. (maybe a 3 or 4 should be good). As for the C4 WRC, I was kinda surprised its actually a lot wider than the TT-R chassis! Both front and rear were sticking out a lot, and needed some huge camber to make it work. (front was 6.5 and the rear was originally 8, but swapped to 7 to make it look not too awkward) However, the shots I did were with the C4 WRC chassis as I didn't get a chance to take a photo with the TT-R chassis. :guilty:

Although with that said, I think you guys might find a better chassis to fit the C4. Any cars 2400mm wheelbase chassis should fit perfectly with the C4, but finding the right width might be a bit of a problem. I reckon a 300SL chassis would fit nicely, but I needed a chassis with downforce. :D

Just to add, the previous Mini Cooper I posted will also work with a HPA FT565 twin turbo Audi TT works just as good as the normal TT/TT-S chassis. (if anyone wanted to run some downforce with their cars)

Hei
Have you tried a s2K? If that's way too wide, a MR2.

for the C4? Hmmmmm... crap, I meant a 2600mm wheelbase. :banghead:
I have no idea where the 2400mm measurement came from though. :dunce: (must got it mixed up with the Swift)

CallmeDan
Hmm. Using a DLC chassis sounds like it could lead to a lot of problems.

Ferraridude308
Its not detectable.

The way I see it. I have paid for the DLC. So i have the car's codes. So they are mine to use. I will not give them out anywhere. But i will use them on my personal cars because i have bought them and I can use the codes as a reference.

Nevermind.

BUT HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?

How many cars have you made yourself?

If you've done any hybriding at all outside of an app, you would know the answer. Without going too far into this, PD would basically have to implement something in the game that would cross reference your car's hex values with that of a stock one. Since no update containing that has been pushed through, and nobody that I know of has gotten banned for using DLC swaps alone, I would say its safe to assume that there are no current issues with it.

So that's how I would know.

The Evora chassis on a S13 is far from "good" since the wheelbase is too long and the wheel's look like they're rubbing the arches. :yuck:

To those who haven't bought/aren't planning to buy the DLC...

If there are let's say three chassis from three different vehicles that fit the vehicle you want to hybrid, and one of the three is from a DLC Car; why in the world would you want to use that chassis when you have two other options......?

Now in another situation, you might say :"But the only choice I have is from a DLC Car"... then dont use it; simple. I'm not saying you'll get in trouble, I'm just saying don't ask for trouble. If you have the bought the DLC, then that's a bit different.

Could you please list car years for cars like the cooper as i tried the TTS on the 05 Cooper and its too wide, so could you put cooper '07, '11 next to the cars unless the chassis fits well with all years of the same car.

CLK-LM fit perfectly under the Ferrari Enzo and the Alfa 8C

07 M3 coupe fits Jaguar XKR

Speed 8 also fits XKR but with a little wider stance.

My old PS3 died but I got my saves from it. The PS3 I'm currently using cannot go on PStore due to a hardware problem. Even tough I bought all DLC on the old PS3. Even tough I paid for it but cannot get it on the PS3 I'm currently using, will it be bad if I was given cars with DLC codes?

Ah sorry, I did mine on the '11 model. Didn't realize it was wider than the previous 2 models. Anyhow, even on the '11 model the wheels were sticking out more than it should, so you have to play around with the camber and ride height to let it sit perfectly. (try camber 4.0 at the front and 3.0 at the back, with the ride height around 70mm if I remember correctly)

Oh, and I was fiddling around with the Fiat 500 (the newer one that is) and I still have yet to find a good chassis to fit the car. Closest I got was a Lotus Elise 111R RM chassis, but the front still can't fill up the wide fenders when you install body kit type 3. Anyone know what good 2300mm chassis that is wider than this one? (not sure if the Elise 190 RM chassis is wider or exactly the same, but I'll test it out later)

Yeah i had to put 7.0 degrees on the 05 model to get it to the arches.

And for the fiat try the old Elise, fits quite nicely.
