Hi all

I'm reading the ZR1 is the go for a great performing can for things like "Like the Wind".

Then I read someone says ZR1 beats the Z06 easy BUT the the Viper beats both Chevs.

What's the general consensus? ZR1 or SRT 10?

if both had RM as an option I would say the ACR...but PD messed up (IMO) on the ACR. Not only does it not have an RM, but the car should have adjustable front and rear downforce from the factory...but PD didn't even include a front splitter that you can buy...

the RM gives the ZR1 adjustable downforce, and a lighter weight...

There's two ZR1's in the game, one you can buy in the new dealership and can be race modified, the other was a 1990 spec ZR1 from the used car dealership.

The '90 ZR1 seems to be very rare, I've only seen it twice in used car dealership.

Obviously, the newer ZR1 will out perform the older one, but if you or anyone else on this thread are a ZR1 fan or enthuthiast, keep checking the used dealership and eventually one will come around...

I have both maxed, and had the viper first, but got the zr1 rm based on others enthusiasm for it... it hasnt left my garage after tuning and trying it and hating it. my viper beat like the wind for me. the zr1 sucked for me after having my viper maxed and dialed in, the zr1 rm felt like a step backwards, and wasted like 700k vs thr 200k on viper...

I have the ZR1 race modified and fully-tuned and I must say that it is an absolute beast for its price tag. It absolutely eats Nurburgring, not to mention the Like The Wind and GT All Stars series.

I hate how pd skewed up on the SRT-10 ACR its my number one peeve right now, seeing that in real life its a nürburgring record holder with adjustable front and rear downforce and should decimate the zr1 in this game. Just pisses me off

im faster in my dialed in acr10 than my zr1 rm with any of the zr1 tunes I have tried, thats all I know. the acr srt10 viper is a freaking beast, and will absolutely dominate if the downforce is ever corrected, however I think its already on par if not bests the zr1 rm.

no sense cryong about the viper, you can tune it to make up for the front down force, the only difference is you will need to use a different tune for top speed tracks and technical courses, which you already have tunes out for the rm zr1 for both events of like the wind.

its all oersonal preference, but the zr1 costs almost quadruple what the acr viper does to own and try...

the zr1 was a colossal let down for me... at least stock it mades for a balanced drift car... and got me a cool paint color I could use on my viper and call it a copperhead haha
