Don't you just love recursive countries in race names like recursive countries in race names? The penultimate race weekend of the year is also our final Sprint race weekend. The event last season was punctuated by tyre issues on the kerbs forcing mandated pitstops (USA 2005 eat your heart out) and incredibly hot and humid weather that pushed the drivers to the limits of what was humanly possible for even top athletes. The race has been moved a few weeks later in the year to try and combat this, so we will see if it's made a difference. The Driver's title may be wrapped up, but McLaren have the chance to win their first Constructors Championship title since 1998 this weekend if the results go their way, otherwise the ultra-competitive season between the top 4 teams will rumble on to a decider in Abu Dhabi. Who will survive the heat and high-speed corners at the QATAR GRAND PRIX!

I hope McLaren can hold on to their lead in the constructors, though it's not looking promising. Maybe the only hope is the Ferraris being too busy fighting each other.

Dallas 1984, eat your heart out.

Yes, I know, different era, different time of year, different part of the world, different climate, different everything else, etc.

Not rooting for anyone in particular now that the Driver's title has been settled.

Not even remotely sure if I should care to be honest. Track isn't the worst but at this point unless you really are invested in the Constructors title, what's the point?

After an excellent night race in Las Vegas, I am looking forward to this one. It would be difficult for any grand prix to match the glamour and celebrities' presence of the Las Vegas GP but some big names are performing this weekend too including Myriam Fares and Maroon 5. If someone isn't into music and wants to spend time with F1 fans from different parts of the world and talk about the sport, this meetup would be perfect for him/her.

^ Is this like a ChatGPT account or something? Please reply something completely random or related to the race in response to this to try and quell this thought we have had before
Previous posts seemed normal so I can't tell if this is a hack or what.

I don't know what's worse, competing in the 2023 Qatar GP or being dragged to a Maroon 5 concert.

Lawson impressing.

edit: Well, Lando on pole for the Sprint is good. Need Max and the Mercs to help take points away from Ferrari in the WCC. A 24 point lead doesn't seem like enough of a cushion.

If Red Bull cares more about sponsorship money than results, Checo will keep his ride and no rumors will change their mind. Red Bull at this point has only 1.5 drivers and the .5 is being generous.

Put me in the second RB seat at this point. I guarantee I can perform at Checo's level, at the very least.

After I've crashed several dozen times, of course.

Checo has decided he must defend Max from Sauber and Williams instead of Ferrari and McLaren.
If Red Bull still plan on keeping Perez, they either

A) Know something we don't
B) Lost the plot
Considering how hard Mclaren and Lando choked away the WDC and could do so with the Constructors as well, they might have unintentionally made sure Checo still has a seat. Verstappen has another Championship so Sergio stays.
Highly unlikely. I'll just have to freestyle then.
You'll be fiiiine.

Not sure I get your point?

Constructors is where most of the money comes from, and Red Bull fumbled down to 3rd, because Checo hardly contributed.

At the same time though, lets be frank: Verstappen is the chosen one at Red Bull and the main concern had been up until Brazil that Sergio needed to do more to back up Max in his championship defence. In Mclaren somehow managing to squander THE biggest shot ANYONE had in years, Max is now champ so maybe Sergio still having a seat despite failing hard is because their closet championship rival failed even harder.

At this point, I'm just as stuck as to how he still has a seat as everyone else so its a shot in the dark (Mostly the dark recesses of Q1 elimination).
