which tires do you choose for...

3 laps, dry, few turns
3 laps, dry, lots of corners
3 laps, wet, few curves
3 laps, wet, many curves
5 laps, dry, few turns
5 laps, dry, lots of corners
5 laps, wet, few curves
5 laps, wet, lots of curves
10 laps, dry, few corners, with a tire change?
10 laps, dry, lots of corners, with tire changes?
10 laps, wet, few corners, with a tire change?
10 laps, wet, lots of curves, with tire changes?

I have found that when you do the weather transition races, with gr.4, start on hard tyres all round. switch onto wets on your first pit stop and I mostly stay on them. Pitting costs way to much time so I wear them out in the dry.
For Gr.3, they are (at the moment) mainly 10 laps only. Start on RH, switch onto Wets at your only pit stop (lap 4-5) running lean on fuel and you won't need to pit stop again. These strategies have enabled me to win by 20+ seconds for the 10 lap weather transition races so far.

For the 30 lap or 30 minutes mission events where you have weather, same thing, start RH, pit when you see weather coming in or if it is still dry, change onto wets as it will change soon after and then stay on wets for the entire race. Easy gold medal.
