Looks like a dehumidifier/purifier for a child's bedroom/playroom.

Aaanyway...apart from my wife, I am a terrible gift-giver. Casual acquaintances are easy--I usually go for a Starbucks or Amazon gift card attached to something silly and drop it into a gift bag. For loved ones, though, I can't not wrap whatever I'm giving. I like to think the fact that I took that kind of care offsets my lack of creativity when it comes to the gift itself.

I like to wrap gifts and then put that in a bigger box and wrap that box.

For one of my friends thats a musician this year, I made her an ornament. All I did was roll up little pieces of sheet music and put it inside a glass ornament, and put her name on it. I did put a little thought into it and the music is to her favorite song.

Sonos Play 1 speakers. The fact that you can add more than one to your household just makes it even cooler.

Actually not the best gift. It has way more catches than I first thought.

Biggest let down is the absence of a 3.5mm jack, eliminating the simple plug-and-play factor of providing big sound for your phone or computer.

Also, stupid proprietary app you have to use, similar to iTunes -> iOS devices.
