I'm not sure if I can interest anyone but @Sick Cylinder 's got a new race series starting very soon. As usual there's an interesting choice of cars which makes Sick's series a bit different.

I've raced with all the regular guys for a few years and they are a great bunch of clean and friendly racing enthusiasts. But like most series are always trying to attract new drivers.

So click on the link below and go and take a look. You might like what you see... :)

I didn´t know about last wednesdays thoughts, but I don´t mind if we are using different cars with 435pp ans SS tyres.
Let´s see what happens in the room :sly:

Sorry @Team_SWE_1 & @gkgamer I couldn't get online until later. When I did, Goofy had gone offline 10 minutes earlier and GK was in a race around Sierra. I thought I'd wait for the race to finish before entering but when I refreshed the screen a little later, he'd gone as well.

Never mind, maybe next time. 👍

Hi again, Mik.
Some of us were talking about the Mini Club just last night as a matter of fact.

I might need a new invitation since I've tried out various other clubs and had to use up my Mini membership for those.

Will try to make a Friday, but I still don't have a suit and/or tie. ;)

Hi Jocke,
Ok, I'll send you a new invite.

Hello everyone! (If there are still some Miniacs monitoring this thread? :) )

Now that I've settled into a decent weekly routine with my new job, I am available Friday afternoons to race again.

The Race Agenda is at Post #2 , spread the word and hopefully some of you can make it out.

Thanks
Mik
Glad to see you back Mik, I won't be able to make every Friday but will certainly join in when I can

Hello everyone!
Hi Mik. That's a shock seeing you post again - in a good way. :)

I might not be able to make the earlier races but I'll try and make it to the later ones.

I'll have to dust off the Mini. It'll probably need a bit of work, new sills and some welding on the rear subframe.

@Zolon32 - Something for those bookclub nights. ;)

Hi Mik

Good to hear minis are back.
6pm a bit early for me but I'll try my best to join a little later.

Fridays are the new Wednesday!
👍;)

Just an hour forward would suit me - 7pm GMT (8pm BST)
Evening meal finished, plates washed and dried, cup of coffee finished and a short time to sit down - ready to race. :)

But I'll go with the flow of what everyone else wants. I can still make the later time.
Ok, let's throw 3pm EDT/7pm GMT out there, is that a good compromise for most?

There's a place that I like to go for drinks on a Friday, if I'm free. A lot of the time I'm not because of work. On those occasions that I am free, I'd love to get some Mini racing done first. The earlier that you start, the more likely I will be to attend. I don't think you should base your plans around that at all, I'm just letting you know my status. 👍
