I have been looking for a classic club that fits my schedule but I have been unable to find one, so I thought, why not make one? It is relaxed racing, but 'gentleman' racing (please see the good racecraft guide). It will be held on Wednesday mornings, at least at first, and we will see what we can do. Here is a rough guideline of what I would like to do -

5:00 AM EST (10 AM GMT I believe)
300-500 pp
1-5 lap races
pre 1990 cars

My time limits me to an hour, maybe a bit more, so we will do as many races as we can. I am new to hosting, so please bear with me as I learn. Eventually I would like to do themed races, like classic rivalries such as the big three battle, Japanese vs American, etc. I will most likely be on other mornings as well, so if you want to help me with this idea, send me a FR. My PSN ID is Bic44. Maybe you can help me with some ideas.

I realize this is an awkward time for most people, but I hope to get enough to make this fun. My goal is for this to be as much about the cars as it is about the racing. So if you appreciate cars, especially the classics, then join me (and hopefully others!).

I'll join for sure man!! :D

Awesome! So the plan is to go this Wednesday, and I will let you guys know if there is any changes. Sick_Cylinder hosts a very nice classic event on Sunday afternoon so I may go with his tracks. That way you can get some practice in if you plan on racing with him. I am open to suggestions, just remember pre 1990 and 500pp or under. Each race will have it's own limit. Other than that, let's just have some fun!

Really bad... Is true that we've raced before? When? I don't remember that we have raced together before...
Maybe not, but your name is familiar. Do you ever race with Sick Cylinder? Or maybe I just recognize you from the forums

I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning everyone. I am honestly a bit nervous, as I haven't hosted on GT6 before. For this week I have no mic, but chat will definitely be turned on. Send me an FR on the PS3 if you don't already have me on your list. Now - for the first few weeks this room is going to be public to try and draw more attention. Also, as suggested by Sick cylinder, our new name will be "Coffee and Classics" (Much better, in my opinion).

As for our agenda, I will post some of the tracks on here, others we will vote on. But pp limitations will be as follows -
350 pp
400 pp
425 pp
450 pp
475 pp

Our starting time will be 5 AM Eastern time (10 AM GMT - correct me if I'm wrong). To make things easy for the first week, tires will be limited to sports hard for all races.
Not really many rules other than being a gentleman (or woman!) on the track and no swearing/ abusive language. If you slip up with your language because of an accident, etc that is understandable - it happens. But try your best to keep it to a minimum :). The only other rule is - HAVE FUN! Remember, it is not all about winning, it is about enjoying ourselves and our classic cars. And please, if you have something strange/odd/rarely used, race it!

Hmmm...well I am not sure what to say. I work at 9AM (8 eastern). I don't have much choice as my evenings are filled up. I will go ahead with the races as planned this week, and see how it goes

Sorry guys! I wish I could change the time, but then I will be unable to race . Looks like we might only have 3 of us, but hopefully we will get a couple more, either from here or someone looking for a room. Plus, it is only the first week - soon we will have a lot more! I'm planning on an hour, maybe a bit more if we are having fun:D

That's a shame that you are unable to race later than 5 AM. In 10 AM, I mostly wake up and if there is from Monday to Friday, then I can't because my school starts tommorrow. :(

Sorry Benny
