"Beast Control"

The WRC Impreza is easily my favorite. Set up for Gymkhana, it feels great pulling off complex drifts between the tight cones at the Top Gear Test Track.

When I first saw this, three words came immediately to my mind: Ken Block, Gymkhana, DiRT 3 :P

Been tackling the rally events and the old standard Impreza's quickly become a favourite.
Here it is at beautiful Toscana.

Not only is it my favourite car to drive, but it's also my favourite to photoshoot.

Europa's my fav in whether stock or souped, it was in GT4 too. For me there is no car more adjustable than this one. I can be hanging the back end waaaayyy out one corner and splitting hairs the next, or both all depending on my mood. Soooo much fun. Madrid is great because the driving is hard (the long straits and tight hairpins really will unsettle a car easily) and every time I find something new in the scenery. Kudos to PD.

Viper ACR

Probably not my best, but whatever, since it's almost unedited..lol :D

FINAL ENTRY

My latest drive (hot hatches FTW!) to go with my recent photo travel obsession. I started out hating this location but now I love it. My recent 458 shoot there has taken me back with a new car, but this time I went Euro style!

Oh shii! I want to use that tunnel shoot too but with different car.
Darn it. Back to drawing board. :ouch:

Ah anyway, that was amazing. 👍

Well dammit.

Thanks! Just to give assurance that it isn't an HDR here are the before and after shots and the steps that I took:

Raw file: This photo was straight out of GT5 (as seen below), settings were at 16:9 ratio, 1/60 speed, exposure was about +1.5, focal length 26mm, with warm filter, magnification at 2x and aperture f/16.

Edited file: edited using Adobe Lightroom. Adjusted the temperature and tint. Add some more exposure +0.69, add light and brightness at +18 and +22. Then add more contrast +12. Adjusted clarity, vibrance, and saturation of the picture. Also adjusted the color tones, minimized the saturation and increased the luminosity of the following colors: orange, yellow, blue, purple and magenta. Then increased the saturation of red. For the final touches added some sharpening at +67.

What stops you to shoot your car in that tunnel? If it´s your favourite location, go for it, that´s what the theme is about. ;) Just don´t care if other guys use the same location.

Hard to pick just 1 favorite car, so I went for our national pride. The favorite circuit wasn't that hard to pick :P

Yeah, but it's not good to have two same location's location shoot though. At least for me... :P

Well, i've back up plan so i hope it'll go well. ;)

I love shooting on SS5, reflections with the cool filter always seems to give pretty good results, as for the DB9, I actually prefer the DBS, which is why I changed the colour and wheels to mirror the one they used on Top Gear!
So for now this is my...

I don't want my photo to stop you. There are several ways to shoot in this tunnel. Go for it.

No longer my FINAL ENTRY

May resubmit a newer one but I do not think you can take a bad picture of this car. Thanks for the advice, I am staying with the word "favorite". Love this car, lived in Japan a year and loved it, so I am resubmitting a new image.
