Jaguar '66, default paint.
Used 3 pics in photomatix,
edited tones with details enchancer.
Used Photoshop for the layout,
touch ups on contrast etc...​

It's a nice picture but HDR shots aren't allowed.

It's a nice shot, but it has almost zero reflections on the car itself, which is the point of the competition. Nice shot though, really. :dopey:

Oh i see.

Oh my god, i was pretty sure i read all rules last week to be sure off this but indeed, i read it again now and it's not allowed.
Also, i'm not going for the HDR look anyway, as you can see in my pic, it is seriously toned down to just get some light in the shadow parts, that's why probably no one mentioned it last time to me.
Yes indeed, last pic was done just the same. The black and white civic. Verry sorry that i didn't notice it back then.

This is now the new one, worked on a single photo in Ps and avoided the HDR there too.

Thanks, yep an M3 but I didn't edit the bridge. I think the checker of the carbon fiber helps break up the jaggies of the reflection.

Week Closed!

It was pretty hard choosing the right pics for the poll. Here were my specified criteria:
- The picture must have reflections on the car (not on the helmet )
- It must put enough focus on the reflections, like in when you see a pic, you say something like "dang this game got some nice reflections".
That brings me to my last point:
- The reflections have to be nice. Sorry wync, but those reflections of the bridge at Valley make me shrudder. Better luck next time!

If your pic wasn't selected and you want to know why, tell me about it in the poll, so everyone can learn about it maybe, and I'll give you the answer. Keep in mind that I had to narrow down the amount of pictures quite a bit and that it wasn't very easy choosing sometimes. Thanks and good luck in the poll!
