I'm pretty sure the GT was built in Bromley (UK). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though.
That said it was financed by Ford obviously, depends how you want to look at this. Technically, it was made in England.

Touché sir!However the GT40 was not an established brand/car in America being outsourced to Britain. It was concieved there 👍
Personally I've always thought of the 66 GT as british, but thats probably because I am one
Everything about the car was designed and built in England by English folk, but was paid for by the US of A. Unless my understanding is incorrect, in which case I am very happy to be told straight

I guess the GT40 is count as American and I am sure Shidapu will able to submit another Japanese/European classic as good as the GT40 he did.
