CCShaft7 was selected as the Judge's Choice winner last week, and he decided that this week ought to be a Graphics Week.

lekoklatic took out the public vote, and the theme he has selected is Dream Garages!

Further explanation of theme, which is chosen by Week 26 Winner, lekoklatic:

Dream garage with everyones favorite car.
That picture there is just awesome.

There you have it guys, use your photoshop skills to create your dream garage, featuring your dream car. Get cracking!

And remember...
Be creative and have fun!

Note: Due to a time constraints and a mixup, the theme for this week isn't really a 'graphics' week theme, but please don't let that stop you from entering! For this week I won't be requiring that entries have graphical elements, for all intents and purposes this can be an 'open' week as far as category is concerned.

  • Photoshop or another image editing program MUST be used.
  • Each entry must have some part from a Photomode picture from Gran Turismo 5.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
  • Not sure how to post a thumbnail or preview image? Read this sticky!
  • Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
  • When submitting, use either a thumbnail or a preview image, linked to the full-sizer.
  • No full-size images posted in thread; your entry will be ignored.
  • A preview image is not only allowed, but encouraged! However, preview images can
    not exceed 500 pixels in either direction. This includes borders or drop shadow effects.
  • Winner of the public vote gets to choose the theme for the following week.
  • Public vote winners also get to select the top 12 entries for the poll the following week.
  • When selecting the top 12 entries the following week, the theme chooser will also select a
    "Judge's Choice" winner, the entry which they feel has best captured the theme.
  • The Judge's Choice winner gets to choose whether the following week will be either a
    Graphics Week or a Manipulation Week.
  • A graphics week will be primarily graphic design and layout based, for example magazine
    covers, or movie posters.
  • A manipulation week will be primarily based on photo manipulation, for example creating
    race cars in game, or making multi-car composites.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!

Being a Photoshop competition, there are no limits on editing. Use every tool at your disposal to
create the desired effect. Feel free to utilise HDR techniques, photo stitching, whatever you like!
Your only real restriction is that you must use some part of a GT5 Photomode image!
The main thing to remember is to be creative and have fun!

Hi all, excuse the delay with Week 28, lekoklatik was a bit late getting back to me and didn't know what to choose for a theme, so I decided to open the floor for suggestions for a week to gather some ideas.

Lekoklatik got back to me late today with the chosen theme, and whilst it's not really a "Graphics" theme (actually it's completely manip!), because this thread is already a week late I've let it slide and so we'll run with this theme. Those who put a few graphic elements on their entry get brownie points from me, which may or may not be worth anything at all. :P

Iam sorry and thank you guys for understanding. Iam out of all time so I decide to use suggestion from one of you. It is julioangulo86's idea and I like this theme a lot.
As Revo already write up there, u can put there some graphic elements. It is all up to you.
Go for some signatures, brushes or anything and everything what is up on your minds.

Bah, phooey - I'm not nearly as good with manipulation themes as graphic work, so I'll be sitting this out. I figured this would happen since almost nobody actually followed the suggestion for graphic themes :P
 
I actually have a picture for this comp, but it's my first time using photoshop, and I'm not to proud of it. Happily, if all stays still until Saturday, I may be the only one to enter this anyway.

I would like to done something too, but rules doesnt allow that in this week for me :/
It is nice kanicky. But try to play more with propositions.
 
I think he meant Proportions, like the front of the car looks a little bit big, but nice entry :D I will have to whip up something Sunday, im out tomorrow shopping for school (going back for 6th form :P)

I might re-enter but best remove it to avoid more silly remarks.

Oh I didn't realize its graphics week. I think slips post threw me one late night looking through the thread talking about how he doesn't like manipulation. Obviously he's talking about the manip sides of things in the graphic week.

So I wasted some time there, oh well lol. I could add some graphics but I just can't stand fonts/posters/layouts, so tedious to actually do although I do appreciate those things. I'll see what I can do. I might just withdraw as actually the text seems a bit arbitrary to me in the context of the theme.

Edit: I've added a note to the theme section of the first post to avoid any confusion. It's a pretty confusing situation though, hopefully it won't happen again!

Are you sure?

I don't want my misunderstanding to change the comp. People are passionate about graphics, layouts and it's entirely my fault.

I might turn mine into a graphics entry but please don't change anything on my behalf.
 
Quite sure! You won't be changing the comp at all, if you go back to the second post in this thread I made a point of it then, the theme this week isn't a graphics theme at all really, so I'm not going to try and shoehorn it into that category.

You're welcome to add graphical elements but not obligated to.

This week is a bit of an odd case anyhow, but never mind. :P
