Nicknamealguem: I actually liked your shot (and I voted for it) because of the following:
I thought it fit the theme well (conveyed a nice battle)
Nice angle with good action and mood
Pleasing color tones and exposure
That being said, the reason I feel that it didn't particularly get a lot of votes was from one thing: it isn't terribly exciting. If you look at Rev's or Slip's entries, they are striking, attention grabbing, memorable even. Subdued colors, angles, and action rarely do well in polls, unfortunately.

Also: Tangled Web's pic has to be one of the cleanest pics I've ever seen come out of GT5...

The problem is, most viewers don't take into account effort put into a photo, as long as it looks appealing. It's not so much how you got there. That aside, I am gutted you didn't make it. Keep truckin'!

Glad I got through even considering my photobucket is obviously still down for that maintenance thing, Hopefully itll be up and running again by time the next round comes but if not ill be having to pull out

It's real easy to set up flikr and image shack accounts. Might be an idea to hedge your bets and have more than one account ready to go.

I haven't really had time to actually partake in the comps lately, but didn't want to miss the Tournament, and I'm glad I went with the picture I did, since it was a bit risky, but fit the theme in my mind. My only worry is that even back in the GT4 days, I did well in the qualifier, but always bombed my first or second match up. Gotta fix that this time

Thanks also to the 44 kind people who voted to my GT-R/Z06 battle I almost didn't enter this because I couldn't get the car matchup I wanted, but ended up pulling something out in time. Did better than I expected to!
And congrats to Slip, our two shots were running pretty closely for most of the week but you pulled out a deserving lead by the end! Congrats!

I think I might have a record for the lest votes from combined polls I've made. Since joining in at PMC/2.0 Week 6 I've made 8 polls for a combined total of 9 votes (5 of those from this poll with multiple choice). 4 times I've had 0 votes.
