Ahhh... just gotta say I liked the shot where the Evo and Impreza is facing eachother, really captures the theme "get ready for battle". IMO the best shot in the bunch^^

You know that picture with the X2010 and the go-kart? Excellent photo, very well set-up and composed but I think it breaks the rules of the competion because if you are only allowed to use editing that can be aplied to in game screen shots from a replay, that means that the replay contains an X2010 and a go-kart on track at the same time. However it is physically impossible to have a X2010 an go-kart on track in GT5 at the same time because the AI never drive X2010 so the photographer must of driven the X2010. however the only place the AI drive go-karts is in the go-kart only special event. No X2010s allowed. And the online can't be used either as go-karts can only be used when the room is set to go-kart only so the X2010 can't be used. I therefore believe that this photo must of been photoshoped. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm all in the interest of fairness here.

Edit: noticed it is the arcade mode version of the X2010 (the overalls show it). Don't know if this helps.

Now, with all seriousness, I think it is possible to do such a photo. I think I heard the owner said that he used the online function or the two player versus game mode. I don't really remember if joining a kart car and a X2010 in one race is impossible, but by judging by the picture integrity, it seems possible.

Maybe he favorited the kart, and then made a 2-player battle against a X2010, put them in position and taken a photo. Just maybe?

Hmmm, only way I've got an X1 and kart together was in 2-player mode... did they add the ability to save replays for 2P races? Because if not, I don't know of another way either...

Yes SlipZtrEam, the save replay function does work in 2P mode. Incidently that is how I got my tournament shot.

Maybe a little off topic but I got my F10 in a race with an Evo 5 http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5096/5582885799_70736fb597_b.jpg

(GT Rally special event with a Huge restriction on the engine power), and the kart can be taken in 2 player mode, the only cars not allowed in are the Ferrari F1 cars.

Well congratulations to the photographer then! 👍 Because that's an incredible shot even if you forget the selection of cars. Obviously that's done with slowest shutter speed (I think) and the cars must have had some speed to get the blur on the road. To have both cars in focus is pretty good because that camera position tends to give some Mode 1:ish blur to the car with slow shutter speed even if Mode 3 was used. And that's with one car in the photo. With two cars they must have been travelling with exactly the same speed and direction. And the choice of location is pretty good with uniform gray background. Where is that spot?

I confirmed the shot from the original one emailed to me moments ago, but from the additional information given to me, player versus mode was used. Also, to get that blur effect, the kart car was pushed by the X2010 and probably mode 3 was used. He can probably give more information once names are revealed.

Its a relief to get through I was worried because I was around 26th all the time just a few votes above the cut.

btw my shot was my second choice because I stupidly thought a one car shot with some out of focus lights in the background counted as a 2 cat shot, I managed to totally forget the part about a battle.
