Ghostrider, your shot was also great, and it actually showed the theme better. IMO it just needed higher apperture so that the back light would have been in focus too. But it's just damn tough to be up against Mogs smooth pieces of art

Hard to say. I really had no expectations as this theme was so unique. In fact, I voted for both of you (the only theme with this exception), because the theme demanded a lot of creativity and I really liked both of your pictures. Looking at your reject, I think it was slightly better. But it´s really hard to give any criticism with such a completely different and unique theme.

I think it would have, and I think I was lucky you didn't use it - though I do like the entry you did submit too. It was a very unique theme and was hard to know just what to do with it.
