And seeing how you did it, impressive. Here I've been playing with various filters and darkening images and working over the f stop, and you're doing that

BTW - match 12 is a real nailbiter, I REALLY liked both of those shots and had a real hard time deciding who to vote for, both of them deserve to be in the next round IMO xD

I agree completely this is an amazing shot with great composition skill, I knew I had to pull something special out of the bag, but Iv'e been shot down in flames by the best shot of the tourney so far...
If there was a vote for best overall shot of the tourney then this would get my vote for sheer ingenuity, style and uniqueness...👍👍

Well then, I just finished voting. There were four themes I found interesting in terms of competition. I even had to ask my brother for his opinion on some. Overall great job everyone 👍

On a slightly related note referring to tonilleshusband's entry.
There is absolutely no doubt that it is one of the most creative and interesting photo's I've seen here at GTplanet. Especially considering the process which he had to go through to take it. However though, I was still having a problem on which one to vote for, whether it was his or BluckBoster's. Why? Well, simply put, the theme stated Focus must be on the rear lights. I felt as though my focus was being pulled away from the circular break lights and was being shifted towards the yellow GT in it, which of course, is theoretically contradicting.
Though, that's just my own personal opinion. (:
& that doesn't necessarily tell you who I voted for either haha.

well... i've been beet out by a noob!!! Hope ppl looked at mine full size... Looks WAY better than its preview i think... I knew i should have gone with a different photo that isnt so dark... had plenty of my mp4-12c... well i never would have won the whole thing any way!!!

Quite frankly the Ferrari's are a much better picture than an underexposed front clip of a Corvette.

You got beat, simple as that, doesn't matter if it's a rookie or not.

I liked yours but you got my vote based off of the theme. The Ferrari shot could go either way with me, but I liked your shot just as much. I like low profile, aggressive shots. But when I think of V8's I think of big, powerful American Muscle, at which point you both failed in my eye.

Another point: Corvettes don't get many votes unless it's a Corvette theme, I have no clue why.

You're other entry would've gone very bad in the polls.

I think the problem was the car and location. The race corvette has nice custom paint and decals... but its in the dark. A brightly coloured standard vette might have looked better in that location.
