Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have questions, send me a Private Message.

This Thread will answer many possible questions you may have.

  • Entries for the competition must be sent to this weeks Judge ZEROX Via
Private Message and not posted in this thread, any pics posted in this thread will not be
    considered for the poll.
  • Your PM must consist of a preview image no bigger than 500px at the largest side with a
direct link to the full size image.
  • Your first entry will be your last, you will not be allowed to change your entry so be happy
    with it.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a competition.
  • Do not use a photo from your Gallery or post your photo shoot in your Gallery until after
the competition (and poll if you made it) has closed.
  • Preview images can not exceed 500 pixels in either direction.
  • A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
  • Winner chooses the following week's theme and selects the Top 10 entries for the poll.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
  • The Judge will select the top 10 entries and PM to the Host for the poll.
  • The poll entries will then all be hosted by me so that links cannot be traced to the owner
    of the photo.
  • The Host may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
It's recommended to save the original image (preferably in-game) until week's ends.
  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.
  • Please do not use a photo from your Gallery or post your photo shoot in your Gallery until
after the competition (and poll if you made it) has closed.

What you may not do to a photo:

  • Alter the geometry of the car. No stickers, or body modifications not available in game.
  • Add shapes or objects from outside of GT5.
  • Add a signature or personal watermark.
  • Add lens flares or "artistic" filters to image.
  • Remove items from shot (scenery, other cars).
  • Use more than 1 image (HDR, photo-stitching, multi-exposure).
  • "Creative cropping". The main "image" must be four-sided, with 90-degree, upright corners.
  • Selective car colour changing: masking different parts to create racing stripes or similar.

What you may do to a photo:

  • Crop and/or resize an image.
  • Adjust the level or curve values.
  • Alter the colour tone of the image (gradient maps, photo filters, colour balance, etc).
  • Car body colour change (all stickers/design features must remain, see "Remove Items" rule).
  • Adjust brightness, contrast, exposure, shadow/highlights.
  • Enhance shadows or highlights (dodge and burn tools in Photoshop, for example).
  • Add noise and/or diffuse glow.
  • Add a post-game tilt-shift blur, or apply a motion blur to a stationary Photomode shot.
  • Make use of Layer Blend Modes.
  • Use a Sharpening filter and/or tool.
  • Scale or enlarge rims.
  • Remove or modify license plates.
  • Remove the GT watermark.
  • Clean up or fix jaggies, texture pixelation, or colour separation.
  • Add a vignette effect.
Failure to follow these rules will result in ignored entries and/or disqualification!

I got the perfect shot for this. You can use anything only posted in your photostream, right?

If it's not in your GTP Gallery then it's alright.

Also once again we have standard cars being used so if anyone has these cars and can share them online with others that would be appreciated.

Could you sent me a list with eligible cars. I'll see whether I have those available for sharing:)

ahh, nearly forgot it: Entry sent ;)

NINJA EDIT: ooops, wrong week, lol! But this one sounds nice. Surely will enter here too ;)

I got the C9, R89C, 905 and the Minolta, will put them on share tonight/tomorrow.

For now the eligible cars are those listed by ZEROX (C9, Minolta, 89CP, 92CP, 905, XJR9), unless ZEROX wants to add any to that list.

This weeks prize car is once again either a premium of your choosing to the value of 500,000cr or one of the following standards.

Toyota Corolla Rally Car '98

Mazda6 Touring Car '02

Shelby Series One Super Charged '03

Sorry guys, i forgot to put it in the list.

But if know that i think, if i were to put the 787b, the only premium car, i'm afraid the entry would overflow with that car.

Yeah, it's part of the Group C Le Mans category but for balance and equal purpose.
So, no 787B for primary foucs/shoots . :D

OK then, just for clarification: is the 787B allowed in shot as one of the other Group C cars in shot (so long as it's not the primary focus)?

I have all 6 and can put them up for sharing purposes tomorrow. Anyone is welcome to send a FR. 👍

An easy way of shooting these cars is starting one of the remote races I believe and saving the replay:)

The GT all-stars in A and B spec also works for this purpose (if you can keep certain cars out of shot) 👍

Entry in BTW.

good idea about A and B spec. Arcade mode is a bad idea. I entered with my Minolta and was up agains only Escudos and those '70s Toyota race car. I had expected cars similar to mine.

My remote racing idea doesn't work unless the judge allows us to use La Sarthe 2009.

As in having an online race and getting the pictures from that race?
There's nothing in the rules to say not...so yes you can setup an online race and use a photo from the replay.

@nanabu - if you have one on Wednesday evening around 7pm I should be able to join in (around 6am Thursday for me).
@ashes - Sunday morning will be best for me if you want to do an online race.

actually i ment, i could ask 2-3 peeps to join my lobby to take some pics for this Comp. because the A spec drivers are morans and i cant get a nice shot .

but the point is this 2-4 people will recognize my picture so its not a secret anymoar -_-

That's a point I hadn't thought over too well. :dunce:
If there were 3 or 4 others who all took photos from the session and entered you wouldn't actually know whose was which so still would retain an element of anonymity.
So I guess you would need more than 2 people participating in your lobby race.
