I think you guys got it spot on.

I'd disagree- not trying to be argumentative, but the miniature filter would have blurred the top and bottom of the picture, and they are in focus. I'd just say the lighting is just so to create the look, maybe with a little over-exposure

Hi mate

It isn't photoshopped, i dont have photoshop or know how to use it. Wouldn't mind learning though.
I just played about with the in game settings, i think the effect was sepia or warm, cant remember which one.
I was surprised how it looked, because it came out pretty good.
If anyone has too much of a problem with the photo, i'll change my final entry.

Just to let everyone know, I changed my entry from my previous post:



Definitely looks a lot better than previous one, but I still doubt its good enough for the poll.

That view makes me miss Seattle in GT4

This is my first entry, so I'm not sure if I've done everything right, but I hope I have. I was really pleased with how it looked on the PS3, but on my monitor it doesn't look nearly as good. Hopefully the judge(s) has a good monitor!

These cars are racing past the first corner of one of my own custom made tracks.
I think it really catches the moment

Inferno251; It's a nice shot, but it would've been an awesome shot, if you focused on the vehicles, not the ground (my mistake, as in my next post); which may be my mis-conception. Just a tip for next round.


On another note, I think SlipStream needs to do a cleaning of this thread of the entries that will not pass "inspection", for breaking the size rules, etc.

The previews are too large. Some worse than others, but regardless. We don't bend the rules. Too big, is too big.
