It took me some minutes to get an idea of the theme. Looking at recents shots, some of you guys made an excellent job :) I won´t participating though, I like the 2.0 theme this week much more and I´m not the fan of miniature pictures (bmxmitch once said I´m "a master of close-ups" I think... :P)

I'm not hatin' or anything like that, but I reckon when it comes time to cast the votes people are going to go with what looks more realistic as opposed to what's been done correctly.

People may vote for the more realistic shot. However, I am guessing that if it does not fit the theme, it wont get past Lacoster. Great theme Lacoster, that drive with the Samba Bus was the best I have had in GT5.

You are correct, it's a double edge sword.

I don't think a few of the people who entered understand the concept or how to use the miniature filter. Isn't there a guide on this?

True! :sly:

But I would like to see what you pull of with the miniature filter. So... zoom out and shoot that little toy! :)

btw, Ravens 518BB shot is beautiful. Fits the theme perfect!

Hi All,

My first post ('bout time.....)

Shot a hillclimb event 4 days ago with a... would you believe, a tilt/shift lens. I have tried to copy the REAL shot into GT5. Not as effective, but in GT5 I also could not get the height that is needed for the same shot..... I however must give PD a 9/10 for the photomode. The lenses & car speed vs panning are pretty much spot on!!!!

The shots are below; not going to be a winner, but trying to show that the photomode in GT5 is exceptionally good!!!!! There are are some kickass shots in this thread already!!

Dunno, I don´t think I will get pictures that make me confident enough to enter this comp. Instead I can already see myself losing in taking close-up shots... :P

And I guess you meant to say 512 BB :sly:

Anyone else roll their toy cars down a hill?

And no, the Jay Leno Tank Car wasn't the exact car I played with as a child :dopey: but it's really the closest thing I had to the Hot Wheels hot rods. ;) (Don't have a Prowler)

Heh, I was going for that hot wheels look with my viper too.

This is from my older stuff. But I think it deserves more exposure (no pun intended).

Haha, I was gonna go there next if my first shot didn't turn out well. Totally reminds me of a hot wheels track.

Very well done, my first attempts were at that track but I was unable to get an excellent angle like that 👍
