Friday and Saturday are already filled for me i'm afraid. But I don't expect you to change the time just for me, it's fine 👍

I have found a nice tune for the P4 from a link Pigboy gave me. I'll send it to you Joe if you like?

The P4 is nice and nippy due to the RPM which I like. Not bad in the turns either. Just got to learn to control it.

If that was the link to Vintage Tuning, I already checked that one out.

I also can't do friday or saturday.

Ok no probs, looks like wednesday now but maybe 30 minutes later to include Sakery.
If anyone does any testing, let me know the results as I can only test maybe 2 hours a week due to other commitments.

About before dont handicap the mk4 it weighs 200 kilos more then all the others i think thats enough handicap

1015 would be the approx finishing time if we start qualifying at 9 so we will stick to that for now.

Skate- Ill have to drive it before we make a decision, weight is factored all wrong in GT5 IMO.

Something I'd like to test is how the cars perform in the wet. I'd suggest Sarthe '09 with 100% surface water and 100% weather (heavy rain). I had a go there in the Ferrari last night (580pp).

EDIT: I only just noticed that Spa isn't actually included in the poll.

Do you have a definate pp limit yet? I might start some rain tests soon

So far we've tested together at 600pp, and when we next test together we'll be trying 580pp. (580pp will be fairer towards the GT40, which gets to a maximum of about 606pp when fully worn in with a high rpm turbo, and max downforce.) The GT40 will also need to be given a proper setup, as the stock one has a lot of lift off oversteer.

EDIT: my rain test in the P4 was at 580pp. I was at Sarthe '09 with tyre/fuel wear on, grip reduction set to real, weather at 100%, and surface water at 100%. (Racing wets were on the car, obviously)

Times are ok but maybe I´ll miss Qualy sometimes => getting the chance of overtaking everybody xDDD

You can sign me in the GT40.

I can see this being a tricky season for me, although a lower PP limit may maximize the 2D's advantage when it comes to stability as cornering will be more important than speed. Hard to tell.

Lets see how we get on at the lower pp's first mate, I am trying to head in your direction 👍

When the roster is full or the poll comes to an end we can get this going, that should give us another few weeks to test under different pp's.
I say we pick the top 12 tracks as voted for the calendar, spa is automatically included along with a track of my choice.
So with 2 tracks a night per fornight it should take us roughly 3 months 2 weeks to come to an end.
Is that too long? Tell me your thoughts.

I do think it's a bit too long, especially for a pilot season it should be shorter. Maybe 8 or so? 👍

And how come we're doing it fortnightly? I never thought to ask

Tom, its so Pagey can race and it helps me out with Basketball/Muay Thai depending on the time of year.

Its still shorter than the FGT and that works :D

I think it just seems a lot longer due to the fact we're racing fortnightly, 3 months is a pretty long time

My main reason for it personally was that I've got exams in March and I want to be in as few series as possible around that time (IndyCar, Nationwide and maybe even TOCA will be finished by then).

I'd say 8 races so two months, but I doubt many other people will agree to a shorter season though :P

Well we can only try, remember everyone must drop 2 results anyway so you may be ok.
We can give people the choiceof 10/12/14 races.

Yeah I did forget about that. Stick the crappy tracks at the end and I'll miss the last two :sly:

Ok, we will work something. When we have a calendar you can tell me your least favourites although I might have to put a really good track for the final.

Meanwhile I think we can safely say that the tyres are going to be RS and ASM is not going to be an option in the wet. We are getting somewhere :)
