Thanks for the testing/prac session last night guys, it was great fun.

The room seemed to hold up well with the recommended settings which i am very pleased with.
Little bits of lag didn't have a great effect, However, if anyone using Wi-Fi could please use a
LAN cable to hook up the PS3 to their router, this will eliminate any chance of getting lag and
room drop outs. (Wi-Fi and gaming generally doesn't mix well).

Sorry to the guys that left and couldn't rejoin the room, there must of been some sort of work being done on the server.
When I eventually left the room i got the same error code and message saying i needed to sign in when i was already signed in.

Did some testing for the bonus round at the end which looks promising.
A small hint..... you wont need a pit crew lol.

I will update at round 3 as to what it will be and it will be heaps of fun.
30 min enduro with double points awarded.

You can drive anything you like mint slice, and yes practise on tuesday nights.
All you need to do is show up and make sure your car is tuned to the track.
Text you? thats a bit personal lol, keep an eye on the forum, and that goes for everyone.

I'm not going to be able to make it. I was hoping to have my race car together before I left for America and its still all in pieces. Tuesday night is the teams designated preparation night so Ill be spending all my Tuesday nights getting ready for speedway. Good luck to everyone competing. It should be a good series

I've had the G25 shifter apart before and have some ref photos if it helps.
There will be plenty of pedal reference pics/videos around from those who have modded the pedals.

Stuck downloading 3 GT6 updates... which is odd given that the PS3 is supposed to automatically download them in advance (PS+)

10pm - at 42% downloaded now

should be in my new house by the end of the week but cant know if my Internet will be up by then

Hi Ryzza, got it back together mate . . . i've had it apart so many times I can just about do it with my eyes shut! I've replaced the optical encoder . . . no shifts, or lights or buttons were working, I found a broken wire and now only b the buttons on the left hand side and the "downshift" paddle aren't working? The good news is that I can use the "gearshift" as a last resort . . . in the interim i've remapped one of the buttons on the RHS of the wheel to be my "downshift" just have to practise and get used to it . . .

Is there a way to make the "Gearstick" work sequentially in GT6 - I know you can do it in iracing . . .

i'll check the web today . . . but for now - i've up and going so that all good!

I thought the G27 removed the sequential mode that the G25 had? I've only had it open to fix a loose connection when some of the gears stopped registering. Given how soft/weak the shift mechanism was I didn't get much satisfaction from using it in sequential mode. I now have a TH8RS connected directly into my Fanatec CSR Elite via a (purchased) homemade adapter

And remember, if there is lag caused by wifi I will ask you to sort it out or leave and fix it.
If you have a WIFI button on your router, turn off the wifi so the family doesn't disrupt the connection.
(It's only for an hour while we race)
