Just thought I'd work out what the points are with our 2 worst results removed so far:

Make sure you turn your consoles on 2 hours early, patch 1.13 is out, weighing in at a massive 9.5MB

* Fixed an issue where engine and other sound effects were not being played back correctly during online races.

* Fixed an issue where the system would occasionally freeze when 2 or more cars with additional gauges were racing against each other during an online race.

* Fixed an issue regarding the ability to download and play back replays from the Online Rankings board after entering an event.

* Fixed an issue where the game could potentially freeze when attempting to view a replay of an online race from the Gallery menu.

* Fixed an issue where the “Client” display systems could possibly freeze when using the Multi-Monitor function during an online race.

Thanks Ryzza,

Been so busy and haven't had time at work to update scores.
Thanks again, G.

ROUND 5 - THE BONUS ROUND IS COMING NEXT RACE!!!!

Eiger Nordwand K-trail reverse

30 mins Endurance - 1 race only - Double points

Ok guys, the regs are pretty simple
220hp, 434pp.

You may tune your cars, however, the more you tune the slower you will be.
i recommend light tuning, try not to mess with the drivetrain too much as the

"magic" will disappear...

The lancia stratos Rally car is not permitted.

You may use the standard car or the anniversary edition.

See you all on tuesday and good luck!!!

Cheers, G

Anyone else think 1x 30 minutes is not enough?
I guess it's only a positive if (a) we all lose sight of each other, or (b) tyre wear and no pit stops available?

I agree as far as racing goes, I was thing more how the actual night might be over quicker... unless we practice a bit more/start later. :)

Because I'm soooo getting lots of practice in this weekend. :scared:
(I'm actually moving millions of files from one work server to another) :indiff:

Matt if anything you were too gentlemanly sometimes last night. Really enjoyed the side-by-side action though.

Thanks man, I knew I was going to struggle at Apricot, so when anyone would approach me from behind in a hurry. I would try and get out the way as quick as possible, if possible, as to not slow either of us down. Didn't always work out that way, but that was the plan.
It was some great side-by-side fun though. I really enjoyed it. Still spewing I forgot to save the first replay!

Really a shame to see fullgas disco'd with such a big league - hope you'll be all set for next week.
This is the router I was mentioning btw: http://www.cplonline.com.au/netgear-d6200-wifi-modem-router-802-11ac-dual-band-gigabit.html

Yeah massive shame. Was doing so well there, aswell as during the start of the season

I think 30mins is almost too much. I'd still like to see two rounds of 20mins, especially without pit stops, but that's just me. We can always practice or run non-comp races too if everyone's keen for racing

I will open the room a little earlier than usual on tuesday night so we can get some prac in...

Might do some random car choice racing at Sierra if you guys are keen?
I am liking that track more and more as time goes on...

So with the steep hills and loose surface I'm kinda expecting a bit more contact than usual going into those chicanes and first hairpin... where do we draw the line with light bump passes? (Open to all to discuss).

Lets just take it easy.... if you bump pass someone, let them pass u and try again without bump passing them... pretty simple really.

Not an issue, as it turned out ! Well done Ryan.

Yeah thanks mate - defo keep the round (didn't waste Monday night for nothing). :)

Only question is if you treat it as one or two races when it comes to dropping the worst race. Glad I don't have to work that one out.

Here, take it easy and watch a video:

Fastest lap 1:16.5 (final lap)

2 ways to look at this:
1 - Remove two worst races based on position
In this instance XR6 (who finished 3rd - a worst result so far besides the Brands Hatch disconnection) would score 0 points for Round 5 as this is one of his 2 worst races. He could of course get 160 points from last race if he were to finish any future races in 4th or below (can't believe I'm helping you out here Brett).

2 - Remove two worst races based on points
In this instance 160 points is Brett's best result this season obviously so we take away two other results.

Or... pretend we did two races at Eiger last night and we finished in the same positions for both. Brett would lose 80 points for 'race 1' and keep 80 points for 'race 2'.

Your call boss-man. #1 is my favourite scenario (shown by second image below)

Not sure what i will do at this stage. I will review as we get closer to the end of the season. No time at the moment...

thanks for the input though. I do appreciate it.
Cheers

Yeah, worry about the drop at the end of the season. I know there's probably already too many options and no solution, but i just wanted to put my opinion out there.
If the drop is intended to keep anyone who can't make a race night (because of connection, commitments etc.) from falling behind. Then I think if the points are double for the bonus round, then the effect on the drop should be too. So you can either drop your worst two races from rounds 1-4 & 6-9 or the bonus round.
However there is still a lot of racing left, so it's tough to say this early on, what the best thing for the series or season is yet. It's just an option

I guess u know now what my weekend will consist of.... lots of 4 letter words lol

Thanks for the info champ

"edit"
Looks like the dirt race was a bad idea, not only did i suffer, so did the wheel....

I hate dirt races (and snow, for that matter) on a number of levels, but primarily because if you're not leading (and you are racing for the lead or position, which rarely affects me these days), you cannot see ****. No idea re: brake points, apexes, nothing. Not at all what competitive racing should be about. No hard feelings, though, as I wasn't close enough for 99% of the race for it to be a factor, but I was getting annoyed for the 2 minutes I was keeping up with Gastro for these reasons. Meh.

Yeah i hate the dust cloud that prevents you from being able to see too, but i would've taken your obscured view on track over my view spectating any day lol
