Sorry to hear that.
When I host a room I do the following;
1) Start a conversation (PM) with everyone who is on the Official Members list & give them the room number (in the hope that they're signed up to email notifications).
2) Send an invite to people I've recently met in stock lobbies (they appear under your friends list).
3) Post the room as a Status Update (several hundred GTP members see it that way).
4) Text everyone on my PSN friends list the room number & details.
5) Put; "Room Open Now!" in my comment on PSN.
6) Post the room number up in this thread.

But why choose PP first and then vote track?
In GT5 shuffle we always chose PP according to track.
That way the PP always suits the track.
Imagine 350PP on Monza, it would be terrible.
I understand u can vote track according to PP but voting isnt that consistent in a full room. There are always ppl who will not understand very slow cars on a very fast track isnt exciting racing.
Maybe its just my opinion and many think otherwise, but i just had to say something about it.

Would be super-close. So I guess I'm one of those people who find "boring" racing very interesting.

I tend to agree with Willy , I think the random track should be picked first and then the winner picks an appropriate pp.. jmo

The idea behind it was that most people would be able to choose a sensible track to match the PP as @LongbowX suggested, rather than leaving it up to the previous winner to pick a PP suited to the track. However, when I ran a room last time there was 2 bad track choices that I had to override. So, I guess there are flaws whichever way it's done.
Seeing as you both feel that way, let's change it then! Vote track as soon as a race is over, then winner chooses a suitable PP (which the host can change if unsuitable).

With tuning prohibited, are body kits prohibited as well? Will i have to make a separate account specifically for the club? May we add room leaders, so we know when races are held? And can VGTs be allowed it the specified settings are placed? if these questions have already been answered, i apologize

I think you won't be able to go to track if you have a body kit, but I haven't tested this so am not 100% sure.

Mostly everyone who signed up has decided not to host. @USERID_77a23 tried once but had nobody show. Also, even though many are racing, not many are posting here.
All the rooms I've run have been full up. I'm probably gonna be running a room Saturday night, 19:30 hours UK time.

I think there's an 8 hour time difference between PDT & BST, see here. So if I open a room at 19:00 hours, that would be 11:00 hours where you are. As for what cars you'd need, I mentioned that in the OP:
"...make sure that you have a good amount, & an odd mix, of untuned cars between 350-550pp in your garage."
Also, from post 2:
"Race cars, rally cars, or cars with numbers/liveries etc are not allowed. However, concept cars & tuner cars like Spoon/Amuse etc are allowed. No KTM's allowed."

Tell me your PSN ID & I'll add you to the list in post 3. Then, just look out for room numbers posted up in this tread & status updates. You can also host your own rooms with the format & settings in post 2. Just make sure you have a good amount & odd mix of cars between 350 - 550-pp.

Would you like to join as an official host as well as a member? If you do, you can then run lobbies in the same format as outlined in post 2. The settings have to be exactly the same though.
Had fun in your room, those stock S2000's were a right laugh, will have to race with you guys again soon.

Well, maybe not because I'm not so fast typist (I type with a gear shifter's D-pad) and I don't have so much experience in hosting lobbies..So I think I will stick with being a member and an auxiliary host.Would you like to join as an official host as well as a member?
