I have to disagree with you. I play almost exclusively racing games on a daily basis and it was anything but an instant go when I first played GRID. It is a great game, but the physics are odd and unpredictable and the AI might give you a run for your buck at first. It is a game that takes some time to get used and master completely. Not to menton my 'Sunday player' friend, who had an even bigger issue with the game and getting used to it.Ill correct you. Grid doesn't.
I have friends who play racing games rarely, and they never complained that Grid game is hard, like GTR 2, or rFactor. It was instant go for them.
You are not noob if you play or like Grid, but tis game was liked by gamers you would described as Sunday players.
GRID2, however, seems to be (kind of) heading in the opposite direction. Easy to pick up, but hard to master.
