Been having a go at some Global Challenges for the past couple of days and the Tier 4 Power Lap at the the reversed North Circuit at the Red Bull Ring is starting to annoy me.
My personal best is 38.1 seconds but I'm struggling to find the right lines to go faster in that SLR 722.
I went onto a couple of online races afterwards and the driving standards were pretty poor.

The alternative events playlist is much better, at least with smaller amounts of players.

Until another patch gets released im only playing single player with 1.00. Game was ruined with the 1.01 patch with its sound and freezing issues. 1.01 would keep freezing when trying to load Okutama and when i went to join the alternative playlist it froze again which has never happened before.

Have been playing more career mode because I'm fed up of what happens online every race. Currently on season 3 with around 2 million fans and just about to enter the WSR at the end of that season, I like the tracks they've made out of the cities but so far have barely seen any real world tracks and even then it's mostly been the short versions of them real tracks, hopefully they are used more later in the game.
Does anyone know what season in career mode you unlock the KTM X-Bow? It's the one car I can't wait to drive and would be nice to get an idea of when I should unlock it.

Thanks, not too far away then. I think I'll be playing for hours tomorrow once I've unlocked it. The games really starting to grow on me, at first I regretted paying £35 for it but now I'm getting in to it I think it could be worth it.

Does the Tier 2-upgraded Subaru BRZ have the Rocket Bunny bodykit? From what I see the wing is similar...

All I know is the 300ZX is beast in Tier 2 once it's upgraded.

I don't know whether it's a hidden 'assist' or just a glitch but what's really annoying me is that sometimes the game automatically activates a flashback when I don't want it to. I have a reason to believe it's a hidden assist as it mostly happens when I approach a corner at a speed, which I assume, the game deems to be too fast, like a pre-emptive flashback.

Your controller or game must be glitching because I flew into corners & died horribly multiple time having to Flashback myself.

Yeah but if someone upgraded a car to the end of it's base without going into the next the cars from the previous tier upgraded to that tier get raped if the drivers aren't rubbish. Also the Agera R & Veyron should of been in a Tier 5. They are so OP.You can upgrade cars????? Im in season 5 and I didnt know that

I had an encounter against a Agera in an offline faceoff event, and I noticed really quickly how stupid fast it is. It also caused the AI to become ultra aggressive for some reason. He would tailgate me constantly, and if I gave him any room on the inside he would divebomb his car into the open space, usually punting me
I got my revenge though

That's what you get with 1100hp and RWD, even with the rear wing.

Exactly why I GREATLY appreciate the rewind or flashback type of features. You don't need to use them if you don't want to but they are soooooo nice to have. In fact I think we have Grid 1 to thank for this wonderful and innovative feature. 👍Keep at it. Don't be afraid to use the flashbacks, it doesn't make you any less of a man, we all do it

Gets cut corner penalty on the outside end of the corner... seems legit. Seems this game is like Shift 2 after all.👎

Only when it's massively faster than having actually slowed down correctly for the corner before you ran wide. I tend to back off ever so slightly if it happens and it tends to be okay with that, in my personal experience. I find that if it believes you had lost control, rather than deliberately ran it out wide, it's pretty lenient. I managed to get away with a huge off that gave me a perfectly straight rejoin at Yas Marina, which also gave me three place gains.
