Not more manly...nevermind.

Yes, good fun. Spillway Long, following Aldo very closely, come over the bump and I gain some distance on him mid-air and hit his right-rear quarter, pushing him in to the tyres, totalling his car and coming back across the track and taking me out.

So many laughs and a relaxed atmosphere. I even beat Drag once, at Marina Air. I'm getting used to some of the tracks a bit more now, need to practice in Malaysia though, I'm so slow there.

It was nice racing with you guys earlier, sorry I didn't talk much I'm quite quiet most the time even when I am crashing  Hopefully I'll get to join you guys again sometime and get to stay a bit longer and maybe even...talk. Maybe.

Had great fun again with you guys! Sorry to Speedster and Tommi2000 for taking you out a few times....

I heard you on the headset and saw you crash simultaneously on Spillway when I'd caught up to you to see you careen off the track the spinning to the right on a left hander (because of the tricky right before it).

I'm home alone all this weekend (Friday-Sunday) so hopefully we can all get more sessions going because I got me some time to kill.

I had a good time today guys. It was a nice to have some fun racing and a laugh again after so long away from Dirt2. I've still not got used to the physics yet though, hence some of my random accidents and lack of pace on some tracks/stages.

Looking forward to joining you again soon!.:)

Ha, the only things I really ever said were "Oh no" or "And thats a wall/tree". I don't think I even said Hi  Yeah as Tommi said I'm trying to get used to the physics again due to some time playing other games. Thus the random spinning.

And Aldo your car was a mess half the time I saw it. We had a good (kind of) battle at that Las Vegas arena track though. Albeit for last place but thats not the point.

I wouldn't worry about your respective pace to much (yeah I know, coming from the guy who won most of the races but hear me out) I think the tone of the headsets should tell you all how serious we were about the races I think we all seem to have enjoyed the races, whether we involved in the chaos or not 👍 and that's what matters most.

Only Aldo can make an Impreza look like a Chrysler Neon through damage.

Drag - Fri-Sun sounds good, barring GP times and the WC final, I should be on a fair bit. It's enjoyable, though I'll be doing Pro Tour a bit too, try and sort those trophies out.

Ditto on the pace thing, it's all about fun or watching Aldo crash, whichever comes first.

Haha thats good then. I'll be on throughout the next couple of days, even during working hours due to no college.

I'm quite annoyed about my stats being reset though, I only noticed it when I finally managed to join but I used to be a level 27 and since I lost my old game save (PS3 died ages ago YLOD) I lost my rank. :indiff: I was so close to getting the level 30 trophy! Grrr! :grumpy:

Quite strange for a game to store on-line details on your HDD, they are normally server stored.

Ranking seems to be quite quick though. Reminds me that I need to back-up my saves on to my HDD.

It is stored to the HDD, I lost about 100 races from my stats but luckily I'd already done my level 30 and backed up my save a couple of weeks before. Live and learn, it is odd but you'll remember to back up your saves now at least if that's any consolation.

Damn right!
Oh, and it's probably the latter ;)

For me, it's all about the fun and the banter! As you can probably tell from the state of my car I couldn't give a damn about making it through the stage without getting my car dirty or even being fast, whcih believe it or not, does happen sometimes

That's my excuse too... :D
Yeah good battle, sorry I took you out a couple of times though. Tried to be too clever

First go to the mirror and apologise to yourself, Aldo.

:(

Didn't realise what order you quote in made a difference... That's why they are all jumbled up. :P

Has anybody tried Dirt 2 - PS3 version with the Fanatec Turbo S Wheel ?

I have found the feedback to be very weak with maxed out FF settings, i.e. when landing from a jump there is no FF.

Thanks.

OK just figured this one out, and tried this on the Xbox 360, the FF is awesome with the Turbo S Wheel and I had to turn the FF down to 30 as it was too strong :ill:

I started working recently so I had money to spend and I bought DIRT2. Awesome game and the graphics are SOOOO nice, it's awesome. A nice arcade game, money well spend for sure. :D

I'd be interested in joining you guys for a few races. I'll send some friend requests soon.

I've been playing Dirt (1) again for the last few days, and am not really impressed anymore. Do you guys recommend Dirt 2?

EDIT> Never mind, I just ordered the game. :)

Yes, it's fun, can't stand the Trucks myself, but the cars are awesome.

Another good afternoon session, my favourite was driving into the bottom of Aldo's car after he nosedived at the jump on Shibuya B.

We're definately having a complete blast at the moment, the key is not to take it to seriously and it will provide alot of fun. Some great battles developed (both clean and full of carnage) which provides so many laughs with so many headsets going.

Invisible +Rep to everyone who was involved today 👍.

Had brilliant fun today. All 3.5 hours was great!
The best was that 10 lap rallycross event where Sureoss managed to go under my car after I failed at the jump
Thanks guys!

That was the same race where you were watching me and Stig having a great dice for the lead for 3 or so laps correct? Which was a great battle and quite clean amazingly only minor body contact very few times despite running side by side for alot of it 👍.

He was a good racer.

I'll jump on post qualifying tomorrow btw. The Rallycross mix was mental.

Backways. :P

Epic racing this afternoon, it wasnt neccessarily clean (I know I was perhaps one of the causes) but it didn't matter too much. Great atmosphere again, and we did a lot of races too. I think I hold the new record of wrecking a car within the start of the stage, 3 corners FTW. Me and Aldo had some mini battles, but one of usually ended up hitting something after awhile. Do you guys all play with a wheel? I'm just trying to come up with excuses for why I'm so slow

I may be on tommorrow, it all depends on if I go to Cadwell tommorrow or not. If I don't, then I'll probably be on most the day.
