Backways.

Epic racing this afternoon, it wasnt neccessarily clean (I know I was perhaps one of the causes) but it didn't matter too much. Great atmosphere again, and we did a lot of races too. I think I hold the new record of wrecking a car within the start of the stage, 3 corners FTW. Me and Aldo had some mini battles, but one of usually ended up hitting something after awhile. Do you guys all play with a wheel? I'm just trying to come up with excuses for why I'm so slow

I may be on tommorrow, it all depends on if I go to Cadwell tommorrow or not. If I don't, then I'll probably be on most the day.

I'm on my pad as well, I used to typically be about 2-3 seconds slower on my G25 on a rally stage in rally cars but I think I've got that gap down before I came home. Haven't set my wheel back up since I got home though and probably won't til I go back to Uni in Sept.

Hopefully I won't always end up backways when I do that

I really enjoyed the racing last night. In fact, I would have played longer if my headset and controller weren't almost flat.

I had quite a few accidents, the first one was at the first corner of one of the Shibuya races where I had the front end of the 350Z on top of Speedster's R4. Another was when Aldo's car was ghosted after a spin and just as I approached where he had spun, his G-Wiz Subaru Impreza Superleggera became solid again and I slammed into the side of his car. Oh, and I was backways and upside-downways quite a few times as well.

There were a lot of good battles, both clean and chaotic. The best that I was involved in was a 3 lap battle with Dragonistic at Shibuya. I should apologise to Drag after hitting him off into the trees on the last lap at the Malaysian landrush track.

It was enjoyable racing (much better than being punted off by my brother) and I hope to race again tonight - probably before and after F1 Qualifying.

Don't worry about that Malaysia incident, or any other, so long as it's not on purpose I have no problem with it 👍 That one in particular I don't think either of us are to blame and I just came off worse, I still bagged second anyway .

Odd, the FFB is definately quite strong on a G25 at least.

Yes the G25 and Dirt 2 / PS3 combination are awesome, that is why it took me by suprise when I used the Fanatec Turbo S wheel I found it very poor, it just vibrates with small amounts of FF.

However on the 360 the Fanatec wheel and Dirt 2 are a match made in heaven 👍

The game arrived yesterday late afternoon and I've been racing all morning today. Loads of fun. 👍

Currently at level 16, so still a long way to go to glory.

Yup, that was EPIC. Nice mix of battles and huge crashes, pity it couldn't have lasted longer, though there was quite a lot more ramming towards the end before me and Speedster left.

I should be on a few days next week, so hopefully i'll join some of you again soon.

Some of the randoms are just brutal and it causes a huge domino effect when there's people around. It was good fun though and as usual that's all that matters, finishing well is just icing on the cake. I feel Aldo wouldn't have actually caused much more carnage then we got on the busy races anyway

It's ok. I can tell when it's an accident. The race in Morocco on the landrush track pissed me off. I was in first and then I got slammed by like 5 people.

Also I must say I'm very sorry Cale for smashing into your rear at Shibuya, we took different lines in and I carried way more speed through the corner square into your car and spinning you round. I stopped immediately to let you by but I think you already hit the start button and let the game run you round.

That's okay, I was slowed up by the two people in front of me duking it out. You can push a button to reset you? Also I didn't finish that race anyways because my dad doesn't understand you can't pause an online race.
