If OSU doesn't dominate the Big 10 next year there's a problem. The Big 10 has gone from a powerhouse to a bunch of really mediocre teams save for OSU.

I can remember those days when all you heard was Big 10, Big 10, Big 10. Indeed, I'm not going to argue the fact that the power has shifted to the SEC, but I personally think the times - they are changin'. I'm not saying this because I'm a Bucks fan, but there is something good cooking up in Columbus and Coach Meyer is the head chef. Lets bring the Big 10 back to a respectable power.

College football back in action today. Your matches:

* Military Bowl: #24 San Jose State vs. Bowling Green State
* Belk Bowl: Cincinnati vs. Duke
* Holiday Bowl: Baylor vs. #17 UCLA

Cincy and Duke is a pretty good basketball match. However, their football teams aren't too shabby either. Enjoy some college football today.

D3 action, again.

The Mount Union Purple Raiders have won yet another National Championship. This makes 11 Championships since 1993. The Purple Raiders defeated St. Thomas of Minnesota in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl by a score of 28-10.

Congrats Purple Raiders, well done guys.

Here is an interesting read by the way. The winningest coach you have never heard of ... Larry Kehres.

I :censored:ing hate bowl season, we never win!!! I wasted 3 hours watching us fumble the gosh darn season away, gotta love being a Duke fan, dear lord...

Larry is Mt. Unions coach isn't he? I watched that game very good game. Blitz do you hate me or something? If you do,i am sorry you hate me.

Baylor. Baylor. Baylor! They should have had a better season than they did. At least they might be able to finish it on a good note. To blitz:yes, i like baylor. I also like:Texas, boise state, oregon and i know this one is weird being a bama fan,LSU. Don't ask.

A number of teams will get some face time today and tonight. Right now, it's the Independence Bowl between Ohio and Louisiana-Monroe. Later today, Blitz24's Rutgers squad will play in the Russell Athletic Bowl against Virginia Tech. Other Bowl games are abound between now and the BCS National Championship game.

Enjoy some college football on this final weekend of 2012.

If anyone is watching, ECU basically looks like ULM, except we played twice as bad as them in the first quarter and got it back together as the game progressed. Same eventual outcome though.

Don't 'ya just love College Football . One never knows what can transpire from week to week, or in Bowl Season.

Yup, he is Mount Unions coach. I did not get to see that game unfortunately. I had to read about it and watch highlights. I'm proud of Mount Union. It's a great program.

Sorry, but I am going to ask anyway. 'Bama and LSU are your favorites :boggled: ? That would be like me saying that I love Michigan :dopey:. I will admit that I respect Michigan, but I don't love them. That is really going against the grain .

Now that I've cooled off I can say I'm excited for the next few years for Duke and ECU football. ECU will hopefully be in the big leagues when everything settles, and Duke with Cutcliffe will be a force to be reckoned with in the ACC in years to come.

Well, the reason why i like LSU is because last year if they would have lost in the sec championship alabama would not have been in the national chaampionship. We wouldn't have 14 which not any other program can say they have. Notre dame has 13 tho. Two of the best college football programs.meet again. Yes,they have met before and they were very good games. Also, i said like. Pretend like " like" was italicized doing this off a tablet and can't italicize.

That charge at the end of the half was good, and you guys certainly have the edge in penalties.

This is awful. Horrid. Horri-awful.

About to stop watching, honestly. This is an old Big East rival, for gods sake. Can Holgerson motivate are guys at all?

Yeah, sorry about that last one i went to espn.com. sorry mountaineers i wanted yall to win. It is okay there is always next year.

I'm not sure if there will BE one. Geno, Tavon, and Stedman are all going to the NFL. However, we've got several 4 star recruits out of Florida and Maryland that may help us out in a couple years.

That is always good to have several 4 or 5 star recruits.

There is a kid I saw footage of yesterday. Remember the name: DeShawn Coleman, a RB from PA. He's a junior this year, and a three star recruit, but his junior year he's rushed for 2500 yards and 36 TDs. I hope he has a monster senior year so he'll jump to 4 or maybe 5 stars.

Nice 👍

So who is doing what in the world of College Football Recruiting ? -----> this It does not necessarily mean that they will all pan out, but, it is just a little insight as to who is doing what.

Here is what is cooking in Buckeye Land. I've seen Gareon Conley (Massillon / Washington High School) play. This kid is good. It will be cool seeing him wearing Scarlet and Gray.

We've got another guy who was redshirted this year from Baltimore (Dunbar, same school as Tavon Austin), a WR named Deontay McManus, 4 stars. He is a pure athlete. Check out some of his high school highlights. He might just be BETTER than Austin in the future. Not quite as fast, but he's taller, has longer limbs, and can catch almost anything.

Another perk of the Big 12 is stealing some recruits out of Texas. We also picked up 4 Star QB Ford Childress out of Houston (Kincaid). I'm hoping he takes the starting job away from Paul Millard now that Geno is gone, I love seeing him play.

Ha. Wait i like texas. GO LONGHORNS! No offense death but it is my home state you would understand right. Did texas win?

Are you all enjoying this final day of 2012 and all the college football games? Congratulations to all the winners up to and beyond the point of these New Year's Eve games.
