I decided to do a quick run through these for some fast cash. Only have all silvers for now, but later down the road, I’ll try to gold everything. Getting diamond isn’t even a thought in my head right now.

OK guys dumb question time....

Where do you go to adjust the brake balance for this Mercedes AMG? Once you are about to start Lewis' Time Trail, the only option shown is Driving Options. But there is no car settings menu to adjust the brake balance. Can someone tell me where it is?

You can adjust brake balance in the MFD while driving. More info about it here.

I'd been planning to clear out a space in my room to set up a steering wheel, and these challenges were what finally motivated me to actually do that. Dragon Trail was the only one of these tracks that I felt I was good enough on to have a go with a DS4. I got less than 0.2s away from a gold but just couldn't carry speed out of the Death Chicane, so I decided to leave the challenges until after I got my wheel. Fast forward to this week when I bought myself a G29 for Christmas, and I've golded all of them except for Willow Springs (because I hate that track) and Bathurst (haven't attempted it yet). The only track I could reasonably expect to diamond on is Monza, which I golded on my very first try on a relatively cautious lap. Seeing all these people getting diamond laps on DS4s makes it really tempting to return my wheel and sell my PS4 at this point . Since I've only had my wheel for a few days, I'm sure I can find some more time, but the fact that I had to get a wheel to even think about getting all golds while there are DS4 players out here getting diamonds really drives home how unremarkable I am as a sim racer (I kind of already knew that from GT 5 and 6, but GT Sport really drives home the point on a regular basis).

Am I the only one who never got a single 10+ million Cr. car as a prize since day one?

I'll get the 120 millions and then I'll be broke again without even being able to buy all the exotic cars, I suppose.

I have over 100.000 kms driven in the game.

I suspect most people haven't won one/any of those cars to be honest, I know I haven't... Just gotta save up, and if you do get the money from these challenges it's about the quickest way to do so.

Just came here to tell you guys I managed to get GOLD on Willow Springs, after over 3 hours of trial and error :sly:
One of my least favorite tracks which I started to appreciate more and more along the way.
Never thought gold would be possible for me and yet here we are. Diamond is a show stopper though, as I'm only a B rated driver.

I´ve never won any of those 10+ million cars either. One possibility to get hands on every car is to create new PSN accounts.
The DLC counts for all accounts on your PS4 so you can win all the credits more than once, if you're able to beat Hamilton regularly . I did this with my Youtube-Account and use it to buy the cars I couldn't afford on my main account. Of course that´s kind of a workaround but the only possibility to drive every car without thousands of hours grinding.

Finally diamond at Brands Hatch ! After trial and error I settled for neutral brake bias.

Tip: use the shadows on the track ( specifically the last narrow gap in the shadow ) as braking point reference for second corner.

Usually when I watch the replays of people getting a diamond I think that they make it look so easy but on your lap you’re pushing like mad, good lap!

Can you get the prize car for all diamonds in the daily roulette? I know the car is supposed to be a trophy for beating the challenge so the answer is prolly gonna be no. It's just that I can't see myself beating LH on Willow.

Finally. I've been on and off trying to get diamond at Nurburgring GP for a month, and usually quickly gave up thinking that there is no way I'll ever get it. And today, I somehow managed to get just 3 hundreths off Hamilton's time. I almost smashed my controller but then decided I'll either get it today, or never and it took me another hour to finally beat him.

Oh, and here's Monza, it was a breeze compared to Ring. It took me maybe 15-20mins.

I know, it was possible maybe a few months (week ?), but it has been patched.

My source ? GTPlanet and every one's experience.

You mean winning or even showing up on the roulette? Because a few days ago there was a Cobra Daytona Coupe, but I didn't win it.

They show on the roulette but you won't get them. It's just a troll.

Well, after 3 days of trying and failing, I finally managed to get diamond on Brands Hatch Grand Prix.

And also, today I managed to get Diamond at Nurburgring Nordschleife and Monza Challenges. Unfortunately, I'm struggling to get Diamond at Willow Springs, Suzuka and Interlagos.

Most people agree Interlagos is the easiest out of those three in case you're trying to figure out which one to do next.

I won an X2019 Competition yesterday. I feel like it’s actually been a bit better recently. I used to get the cheapest car from the 4 in the roulette literally every time, but got a few more expensive cars like Gr. 3/4, more expensive road cars or that X2019.

Yeah, seems they raised the max price of roulette cars from 2M to 3M, I noticed that too.

You still can't get cars above that price however.

Well, what I meant "3 days of trying and failing" is because it took me several tries to get Diamond on Brands Hatch Grand Prix. It was so hard!!!! :guilty:

Right now, I'm struggling at Willow Springs, Suzuka and Interlagos.

Just managed to beat the last diamond time on a controller. This is how I would rank the difficulty of the challenges (easiest to hardest):

Monza
Interlagos
Nordschleife
Dragon Trail
Maggiore
Bathurst
Brands Hatch
Suzuka
Nurburgring GP
Willow Springs

Glad to be done with this and I must say, despite all those saying otherwise, money well spent. I had a blast mastering the tracks to beat Hamilton's times. The 140 mil credits is an awesome bonus, even though it's all gone now :D

No no, I mean I haven't seen you on the forum for quite a long time. I was wondering where you went in that time.

I've finished the LH time attack events a couple days ago and I'd say it's great additional content.
Didn't regret the purchase one single moment as I really liked being seriously challenged - very addictive and enjoyable overall.
There's only two minor weaknesses imo.
I think the prize cars would have deserved a LH livery each, and I would have expected Lewis's driving tips to go more into detail.
However, his driving speaks a language of its own - leaving enough stuff to learn and practise for a non alien on a DS4. I've been really impressed by how good he is on the brakes and how much speed he carries through corners. If Lewis had cut curbs like I do, some of his times would have been unbeatable for me.

My personal difficulty ranking ( from easy to hard ) is
Monza
Interlagos
Nordschleife
Lake Maggiore
Dragon Trail
Brands Hatch
Nürburgring GP
Suzuka
Willow Springs
Mount Panorama.

I'll certainly repeat some of the challenges to improve my laptimes, so there's even more fun to have here in the future.

You can't win any car above 1 or 2M on the daily roulette.

If things haven't changed dramatically since last summer ( when we had our gtp monthly marathons ) the most expensive car to obtain from the wheel of fortune is the Veneno at 3.640.000 cr ...

Could have been bad luck and probability though to not get the unicorns.

I just bought the DLC last weekend, mix of curiosity and wanting to support PD for all these updates.

It's really a big challenge as I'm very low DR player. But it's a nice way to learn, and it give a second wind to the game.

After 3/4 hours on dragon / brands hatch / monza, I only got silver and I'm easily 1 second far from gold, so I should be on this DLC for a few weeks

I always played with no ABS at all but after a lot of laps of frustration, I had to set it back here : I realized how much it helps me to be faster, as usually, I was very gentle on the brakes (and braking a lot earlier than a lot of people)... I might come back to sport mode with ABS on, I'm sure I would improve my DR a lot :D

Anyway, great DLC, on paper it's not a lot of features or whatever, but it's really entertaining
