I hereby submit my resignation as an active driver in CORE competition however I will be around in the way of a team principle. Thanks for the great racing guys

Good race everyone, Bathurst & Monaco are my favourite tracks

Nice battle for the lead GTP_Caine I knew you'd take me before T2 on lap 1 though :(

It was so hard to make a pass stick at the end of a straight, i knew the only way to stay outfront was if i managed to overtake you in the hills

Yeah, I knew it wouldn't be long before you got passed me. Man that Chevy has some grip on it! Same for the Merc's power I suppose. :bowdown:Don't know how you managed a 2'01 though, incredible.

EDIT

Also, sorry to @Killing Heidi for the contact. I thought you backed off and went wide to let me through, so I went for the gap only to find it close. My bad, hope it didn't cause you any damage.

Yeah the chevy has some ballast weight to play around with, thats why we wanted that car, in the corners its fast but i reckon its the slowest car on the straights. My best lap with 1/2 tank was a 2.3 but before we did DC I wanted my 1 so i put in 20L and floored it:lol:

Hahaha, I knew you did that on perpose lol. Stunning lap time I must say!

No you didn't cause damage, I was trying to let you through with a damaged car. Sorry about that, and tbh, I didn't think you even hit me lol. If you did, it must have been a tiny bump. I hope the penalty wasn't given to you over that surely?

Yeah it was for that, not that it would have made much difference, TRL would have still been a lap ahead. I can settle for 2 laps down after that final stint, so much time lost! :( But two 6 hour races in 18 hours is good practice for the Spa 24hr in a fortnight!

Thanks everyone who did take part and made the effort to show up and compete.

Congrats to @RacingLine and @TRL_Andromeda on a well deserved win, you guys were way too fast! Congratulations to everyone who finished the race @Beau Albert @Glenalz81 @gtpcaine @Killing Heidi @MackZ @evildragonxxl and @Mike458. Bad luck to @SAI SANTOSH and @itsLynxy who were unable to finish and also @addylizard who put in a huge effort to compete when his co driver was a no show.

Now I'd like to discuss a couple things about the next round with everyone and give the choice for everyone to vote on what direction we take. The participation at Bathurst was below expectations and we still would not have filled the room for Bathurst if it was a single driver race. So I'm going to provide 2 topics for everyone to vote on.

Topic 1 - Race Format:

1 - Single driver event with 2 x 150 km races with points only going to individual drivers for the championship. We will decide the Endurance Cup based off of High Speed Ring and Bathurst only with the extra $100 in prizes going to the Endurance Cup Championship

2 - Single driver event with 2 x 150 km race with drivers scoring points for both the drivers championship and the Endurance Cup team Championship. This will mean that co-drivers will share the track with each other. Prizes will still be given away as planned.

EDIT: Drivers not in a team will only score drivers points

Topic 2 - Race Track:

1 - Continue to race at Monaco.

2 - Race on a replica of the Gold Coast 600 circuit created by the course maker.

Everyone please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible so we can begin planning for the next round. Thanks :)

Topic 2-Option 2-I'd like to move to a different location and more over Monaco in this game isn't that good, sorry to say that but Monaco in the game is no match for the modern one.
