Suddenly your comment about grand final day deal makes sense. Yeah I'm in. Who am I teamed up with? Am I in the chef again racing for Heidi?

I think DZITEZ has work so he will be unavailable, but we have an opening in another team after a driver pulled out.

Here is the current entry list for the Bathurst 1000:

All drivers, please be aware that we will now require stint photos to be taken during the race, so please make sure you are equipped to do so.

Sorry for the late notice everyone, but as part of the buildup to the Bathurst 1000 and for a bit of fun, i'd like to run a 2 Hour GT3 race tomorrow night (Wednesday September 30)

We will be using the rules and regulations from the Global GT series with the following changes to the regulations.

CORE Global GT Rules and Regulations

Race Time: 1 x 2 Hour Race

Tyres: Racing:Hard tyres only, exception for wet weather, where intermediated or wets are used.

Pitting/Pit windows: As many times as you want / No pit window

Disconnections: If 2 or more drivers disconnect in a 10 seconde period then the race will be red flagged to allow drivers to rejoin. Drivers who have disconnected will then be allowed to rejoin at the rear of the field, while the race timer will continue to countdown, meaning the race will finish after 2 hours, regardless of the racing time.

Starting Circuit Time/Time Progression: 05:00 & 6 Times

Starting Weather/Progression: 0% & 3 Times

Car Selection: 3 of each make are available on a first in best served basis.

Timetable:

7:00PM ACST - Room Opens
7:45PM ACST - Qualfiying (15 mins)
8:00PM ACST - Race Starts (2 Hours)
10:00PM ACST - Race Finish

@ItzRacing -- Can you confirm a few things for me please. I've heard that the maximum drive time of 2hrs has been waived, and that there is now a minimum requirement of 2 driver changes in the Bathurst 1000. Is this true? Because if so it drastically alters pit strategy.

I was going to send a message out in a few minutes, but you beat me to it by asking the question.

To confirm to everyone, the maximum driving time rule will not be enforced. But all teams have to make 2 drivers changes during the race while all drivers have to do a minimum of 54 laps. This is to give flexibility to strategies, as everyone would have done a 66/34 split of driving time, meaning teams that have equal drivers can run more of a 50/50 split in laps to keep drivers fresher or continue with a 66/34 plan. And leave the faster driver in as long as possible.

Here are the current results for qualifying, due to the mishap earlier in the week, I have made the decsion to extend the qualifying cutoff until midday tommorow. I also need to remind everyone that daylight saving begins in Australia overnight and that for other regions, everything will be an hour earlier on race night.

Qualifying will end in 26 Hours.

This is struggle town in the Ford, I can pull a 2.04 in the BMW or chev but barely 2.08 in the Ford.
anyone else going poorly in the Ford?

Oh god, I am six seconds off the pace at the moment. Anyone willing to toss me a setup for the Merc? @evildragonxxl , want to drive for Inferno Racing with me for this race?
