If you are about next Sunday, will you join us for the last SC race?

Seeing as you asked so nicely, I will :) What's the latest tuning regulation - tuned to the throat? So I can get a few laps in.....

And - 'last' one?!?!?! Surely that can't be right - did it not only start......a couple of weeks ago??? This year is flying by. Which is a positive for only one reason - less time to wait for Dark Knight Rises :)

Great, it will be good to see you in the SC again.

UPGRADE OPTION 1. Sports ECU.

UPGRADE OPTION 2. Sports manifold and cat.

UPGRADE OPTION 3. Sports intake and racing air filter.

Install all 3 and set BHP to 197.

Yep, it really is the last 1, I cant believe its gone so quick.

Well if it works I'm up for that 👍

So do we need to keep moving or simply parking behind each other will do? As I'm sure when I've attempted this before and someone always ends up out of place

The method PURE has been applying on all their races is lining up and hitting the hand brake so nobody rolls past on accident an screws up the order. So far the only screw ups were due to "reverse grid" settings and forgetting to reset the track once. Otherwise the order should work fine.

We can try it on a practice session tonight.

No worries Wiggy, these things happen. Just remember that it is race etiquette to let cars pass safely if you are a backmarker. I still managed to finish 5th, which is where I started on the grid so well happy with that.👍👍

Great race Omnius.👍👍👍

I'll second that Ade!

For an 'older' track, it turned out to be quite a race! I had a good few battles, and I know there were a few racing incidents, but it all made for a good hour :)

What an entrance Joy_650 made! Pole AND the win 👍 👍 👍

Welcome to the CORE!

Well the re-surfaced Northumberland Park East (renamed Kielder Head and tweaked) after 2 seasons is being retired and I think it did a grand job tonight

I'll be missing the Evora race next week. I've planned a short vacation trip to southern France. But the Season's Finale I wont miss for the life of me.

Any leaks concerning the next season yet?

Looking forward to racing the Evora's again next week, especially at Cheviot.👍👍 Just a shame we cant put on some fat boy wheel arches like on the new Evora GTC.

Welcome to the CORE!

I'm pleased you have chosen to join our group, but if you are just about to get GT5, I'm thinking you won't have played it enough to purchase the required cars for the season?

You are more than welcome to join though, and as you would have seen on page 1, Season 3 is almost at an end, and there will be all new cars/reg changes coming for Season 4

:)

Spec 2 Gifts you a GT86 right away. Tuning drive train/suspension with start money and detuning it to 400PP lets you enter the online ASpec Seasonals. With the prize money from that first race you can fully tune the car and limit it to the 500PP Seasonals and grind some quick money/Exp. On an alternate account i made Lvl22 and 2Mil Cr after just 6-8 races on 110% log in bonus. But that's skipping all the "race experience" gathering needed to be competitive.

Just like Thrid said....Get some money built up, then get the race experience needed before entering into the online world, it can be a big shock when racing *real* drivers before playing some of the game through the A-Spec modes that are available :nervous:

But as soon as you feel ready let us know! 👍

"Hi everyone, Stephen here, well its almost that time again, and as normal I'd like to prepare you all for the coming 4th season of the CORE GT Series. This time I've made a few changes (full details will appear on page 1 after we've raced the 'Ring) but until then what I can share is.....

S4.png

CLUB RACING...

"This season see's a shift-around, the Northumberland Park Road Races will now be used in the Club Racing events, which means the NPS Circuit Races will now be part of the Championship" 👍

CAR REQUIREMENTS...

"In the interest to prepare for the new season as the Club Car this time around comes from the *Standard* garage, I figured everyone needs to know now while we still have 3 weeks to go before S4 begins (specs will be posted on page 1 for the start of the new season)

So without further a-do, my thinking was I wanted us to use 2 cars that are both 'old-old' and 'new-old' in terms of their looks & design. Also I wanted to increase the performance gap between what we run in the Championship vs Club Racing.

Gentleman I give you Season 4's Manufacturers..."

"Specifically, you'll need an RM Tuscan Speed 6 '00...

...and the brilliantly cheeky little G4 '64 👍

And of course, if you have any problems with obtaining the standard car, post them on the thread and we'll all work together to sort them out. Also checkout this rather niffty website to help you locate your own standard cars!"

I loved the race, it was a shame I was all alone for 52 laps! Still it was fun to win!:)

Terribly sorry about my absence from last nights race, I was busy most of the day yesterday helping my dad get his rally car ready for the rally tomorrow( in case your wondering what it looks like, thats the car in my profile picture 👍 ) and lost track of time completely. It ended up that we didn't finish until around 10 o' clock anyway.

Glad to hear you guys had a fun race and well done to Joy_650 on a very impressive debut 👍 I'm guessing his qualifying time was quicker than 52:890?

And great to hear those details on Season 4 Omnius (finally). I have both so I'm definately looking forward to this. Basically what I'm saying is mark me down for Friday and Season 4  👍

Don´t get me wrong, i like winning, I love it, but somehow I feel that that race could have been a lot more exciting...
Yes my pole was a 52:407 I think, but I could have gone faster...

It wasn't one of my better tracks, just ran it as a 'send off' but don't worry, I'm sure you'll not be lonely next time

Damn ha I would say I don't know where you found the speed but I actually do as I was finding a couple of tenths here and there but just kept messing up. But don't worry, I'm sure a few of us won't let you be so lonely next time ;) 👍
