It was the whole way he made his post is what got to me. I can admit I MIGHHHT'VE gotten carried away, but it sends a message.

Not the one you think it does.

I'd recommend taking some time to cool down and re-think your latest posting style.

Oh, and I have to be honest. Just because I make SOME questionable unruly posts toward certain people, doesn't mean I'm like that all the time. I'm positive that people who don't frequent this part of the forum as much as me (which is all the time) see it like I'm a nutcase. I'm not, I tell ya. And yes, I do understand that all the "good" doesn't outweigh the wrong. I, of all people, know that; not speaking about learning that from an internet forum.

I actually read that after making that post and he only admitted that he didn't understand that the Chevrolet and Polyphony Digital "relationship" is a good thing. Well, he didn't admit it, he just said he didn't realize that.

The man-hours thing is about the relationship. He didn't realize that modelling the tarp ONLY is a lot of work.

Honestly, not trying to stir trouble, but that's your opinion. I had to think about it before typing it out.
Allllllllll right. I was thinking the same thing. What's that Kylie Minogue song? Get out of me head 'er somethin?

:D

Anyway, it's ALWAYS the new members that post like he did. Let's refer back to it.
Why all the uproar? It's looks like a car wrapped in a towel. I for one think the car looks like ****, can't use that word here. It's not like PD spent hours and hours to get it in the game.

Hate me if you want, but I'm just speaking my mind.
It's exactly like when someone says, "I'm just opinionated", or something like that when it's clear that they only have a loud mouth ('dem/them hood rats specifically). I know I'm annoying (to certain people), but at least I don't act like a jerk to the people that don't deserve it, the new members who ask for help. Sometimes "old" members behave like the "bad" new members.

Edit -
"I'm just opinionated" was "I'm not just opinionated". It had to have confused the eight people - three members, five guests - who were viewing this thread (if they cared about the C7 coming to the best racing series in all of teh world! WOOT WOOT!).

Not sure if you're aware, but I haven't been able to play GT5 for nearly three weeks now. It was my anxiety "medication", and now it's gone. Just a PS, or whatever. Only in the past week have I been posting as erratic as I have been.

 Just realized, "Dear Diary,..."

edit #2

\/\/\/ Aww, Kate Upton? and Other Guy can't read. I suggest reliving your lives. Having Kate Upton as an avatar, rosckolove, shows what kind of monster you are. Kate Upton is the epitome of garbage.

Edit #4 -
Let's not stray off-topic, you 2 guys Should have ignored my gibberish garbage headache causing post.

They might not have spent hours putting the car in the game, but it's what the C7 represents.

It's represents a new relationship between PD and a car company, other than Nissan.

That represents a hell of a lot of man hours. Expect good things.

Yes a good point there. As long as PD take advantage of it. How many relationships have they underused just to get bullet points for back of the box quotes.

NASCAR, WRC, Top Gear etc have all been woefully underused.

Here's to hoping they do take advantage of it.

Would love to try the Corvette, its the 22 updates that put me off though.

I'm going to have to buy the XL edition (no wonder GT5 has so many copies sold :dunce: lol) so I'm going to be in the same canoe as you.

It was a sad day I deleted it ( no joke ) I was agonising for awhile but I needed the storage space. Need a bigger drive really.

I would jump on the PS+ bandwagon then too. They really are doing some great things with that service as of late. Puts MS to shame in that regard.

It's always fun to start over with "games" though. I use the quotations because ya'know. Still the GT series has always kept people coming back to restart their careers or to carry on with them.

As for PS+, Sony is out of their minds. I can't believe that of all things that they need to do right, PlayStation Plus is where they go above and beyond.

How so? Lol
That's what I was thinking. I mean, a little "yahoo" (if you know what I mean) was involved when I made that post, but it's still legible.

Not that That Many People Care, I'm going offline for a while. GTP's cretins have gotten the best of me. Well, not really, I just hate them with a beautiful passion. They helped me gain a whole new perspective on how not to Be. Thanks, butterflies (whatever that means).

Thing is though - to the mods/admins - you MIGHT still "see" me.

*farts* haha (fart joke, not everyone gets it

This isn't going to sound professional, some of you will probably crap on it, some will like it, blah blah blah, point being, here's my somewhat simple two cents on this.

Polyphony Digital, a company behind the highly successful Gran Turismo series on three (four if you include the handheld console) generations of Sony's console, Playstation. I have been a Sony player after my Genesis days, and my very first game for my PS1 was Gran Turismo. I have played all the games from then, and enjoyed them all. Polyphony has done a fantastic job of not only pushing this series this far, but evolving the experience with each new entry. Polyphony and its president, Kazunori Yamaouchi (correct me if I'm wrong) have this unparalleled love for the automotive world, and they put all this time into this series so that everyone else can enjoy it. PD and Kaz, thank you for Gran Turismo.

👍 QFT

Banhammer inbound I suspect chaps.. move along...

Anyway I have to saythe car feels a lot easier to drive on edge than the C6 ZR1.

Wow, I'm surprised with everyone. Normally by now, a car would have been pounded into the ground just because of you guys bashing it's sound, but I haven't seen any complaints. Good job guys. Now for everyone to start treating the rest of the cars like that...

Doubt that will happen.

Damn good point. Did not look at it that way. Thanks

I'd like to add that the looks of this car aren't meant to be pretty obviously and like any camouflaged prototype wrapped in cloth and op-art stickers which are meant to disguise anything underneath (hence the word camouflage) the aim is to distract, not attract.
All production cars go through this stage but the special part is that normally they do everything to keep it as secret as possible, not offering it to the public, or even journalists, for a test drive (albeit a virtual one) and certainly not offering it to be photographed easily, static and in high detail, from every conceivable angle.

And I think they did spend a considerable amount of time modeling the specific cloth exterior/interior parts, but perhaps based on the production C7 they have already modelled too.

I still don't have the courage to say NASCAR etc. are present when people ask me if it's in the game.

One of my friends is getting the Academy Edition purely for Christmas because Top Gear is in it, I sent him a pic of a Samba Bus but he didn't understand, he will soon enough...

Another damn good point. May I say that your English is great. I'm from Germany, but live here in the USA. That's what happens when you have a dad from the USA and a mom from Germany.

Got a chance to drive the C7 for a few laps last night and really enjoyed it on spec for without ABS. Braking was a little weak but seemed very suited to no ABS as it wasn't easy to lock up. And it's fast. Ran 1:40.xx at GP/D and 2:01.xx at Monza and there's at least a half second at each track I left behind. Those are fast times for SH in that PP range, so I think it's going to be a very competitive car fully tuned.

This is the fastest base Corvette ever at 450 BPH and 450 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet believe it will run from 0-60 in under 4 seconds (as fast as the Camaro ZL1).

It handles very well. It's almost as fast as a stock Z06 in-game. It out corners the Z06 but is overtaken on the straights.

Just wait till the C7 Z06 is announced. I predict 525 BPH and perhaps a C6 ZR1 killer.

It's certainly an interesting car and very predictable when it comes to going sideways. It has a soft suspension that absorbs bumps but a little too much understeer for my tastes.

Do you guys think they will remove the masked C7 when the real one is revealed? Because I want to own both.

I drove mine so fast the cover came off, lol. Sorry, just my ill attempt at some humor.

Haha... I washed mine soon as I got it in hopes there was a glitch that would cause the cover to fly off when the car was in the "spin cycle" (I didn't really expect it to work, but I still tried, lol)

I wouldn't be suprised if that actually happened. Would be a typical GT glitch. Oh the horror it could cause between GM and Sony.

So, Just spent 2 hours driving this with my friend. Wow, this is my favorite car to drive in a loooooooong time on GT5. Absolutely adore it. 👍

So chuffed. Thanks Chevy and PD. 👍
