Dont know if this is common knowledge now; but the 'Vette is now fully available in the UK - without any issues. :)

after watching some youtube videos, I don't get why all the excitement. It is completely covered (even with dummy lights and shapes according to the description) on the outside and on in the inside.

Just downloaded it, and I'm enjoying it - makes an excellent drifter as is.

Handles well (for an American car :sly: ) and with the right weight setup it can work.

It drives really well! Very fun to drive. :)

Plus, the sensation of testing something that we wouldn't have access too.

I bet most petrolheads once wanted to be a factory test driver. It brings that feelings to us.

There's your answer. There's also the added exclusivity.

And be called Max Venturi, lamborghini test driver.

I still can't download the C7 , he's there but not able to download. :(

“If you have tried to download the DLC in the past and it failed, please re-download it again from your [Download List] under [Account Management] in the XMB-menu”.

Thanks worked for me.

So according to the C7 description you apparantly get 80.000 Euro for a picture of the car caught testing.

So does anyone know where I can cash in my 400.000 Euro?

If it's free, I'll take it ;)

Of course! With that being said, PD offers the most boring DLC I can imagine. So many great cars out there, yet GT5 DLC exposes too many odd cars. I am complaining about their priorities, not the free DLC.

Yeah and what, even if they give a car you want, they'll be another gamer that dont like that car and complain about it. So what should PD do ?

Put all the car of the world in the game ?

Seriously stop complaining about free stuff, it gets super annoying.

It's actually very simple, if you dont like it dont download it.

Has anyone noticed rippling in the canvas due to wind? Or is just a static skin?

Think it's just static, anyway this car being made available in full camouflage (including camouflaged interior) more than a month before the actual car is revealed is a pretty big occasion within the realms of driving games and the car industry I reckon (and once it's revealed and the production version is included it mostly loses that special meaning and feeling when driving it so I'd say make the most use of it right now).
Sure, we have the partly camouflaged Black Mask GT-R before but that only became driveable since GT5 when the production GT-R was already available in Prologue.

I really hope the actual car will also be available relatively shortly to its official reveal. I hope the're not just teasing us never to see the final c7 in the game.

Am I the only one thinking that this car actually sounds pretty decent (for a GT5 car)? And also great fun to drive, had to raise the brake balance numbers to make it stop properly though :D

I did about 8 laps last night on Laguna with it. Only knocked the brake balance down in the rear one click and it was great fun. 👍

He thinks that the final C7 may appear only in GT6 probably on PS4;)

With the reveal date prominently featured on the license plate I'm pretty sure the final C7 will appear shortly afterwards in GT5 or even on the same day, GT6 won't be released by then.
I can't imagine them reserving it for GT6, even PD surely won't do something as daft as that.
If every driving game released before GT6 will include a production C7 then this camouflaged prototype will turn from a very cool mystery car and a great idea/promo into an obsolete wrinkled joke and a wasted advertising momentum.

Did a couple of Nordschleife laps today, on comfort soft with abs off, and it was good. It definitely has the feel of the better gt5 cars, sort of like a bigger heavier v8 powered premium s2000.
Suspension movement is good and traction is realistic on the comfort tyres. Sports hard is way too much for it imho.

PD has hit a solid single 👍 using a baseball analogy with the release of this car. To my knowledge releasing a car like this that still hasn't hit he market is unique. The sound is not bad for stock exhaust, especially from the rear. Don't like the fact that it can't be tuned but understand it nonetheless.

They could turn it into a solid double 👍👍 if the C7 road going version is avaiable on or before the release date of the real car.

Stand up triple 👍👍👍 if they get the exhuast sounds right with the sport and racing versions once it becomes tunable, akin to a real life Vette.

Out of the park home run 👍👍👍👍 if it also comes with an RM version, combined with a proper exhaust sound and some great handling to go along with it.
