BUT this is the best looking C7 I've seen yet:
...even if it is just a render.

LOL at any dumbass that actually buys one of these kits. 4-figure horsepower from the C7 will be done for under $20,000 by far & without any of the headaches associated with dealing with John.

I guess I'm the ignorant one. Whys Hennessey so bad? Honest question never done much research on his work besides announcements like these.
R1600TurboHe's really screwed people over in the past. Horror stories of him using customer cars as parts-cars for other projects, etc, etc. I've heard enough to never do business with the guy.
In addition to John doing a piss-poor job of communicating with the public when these stories come up.He's really screwed people over in the past. Horror stories of him using customer cars as parts-cars for other projects, etc, etc. I've heard enough to never do business with the guy.
McLarenQuite a few forums out there (Viper Alley had some notoriously good threads) where John went on insulting & swear-filled replies to people's criticism.
I presume you can see what I mean though - since the C4, Corvettes have largely evolved in their details, rather than their overall shape. That pic you posted quite nicely illustrates it.
I think, on balance, I still prefer the C6 to the C7. But I'd not say no to a yellow C7...

I don't see it, to be honest.
homeforsummerReally? The lineage from C1 to C4 was almost untraceable visually, but from C4 onwards the basic proportions of the car have been more or less identical.
The C5 was largely a curvier C4. The C6 was a tauter C5. The C7 is a much edgier C6. I can't make you see it obviously but to me it's pretty clear

I see what you are saying overall shape wise, the reason I was at a loss was it seemed you were saying (to me) the C7 looks more like a C4. However, you repeated what I was saying which was a more precise than general which is what I thought you were getting at. Anyways I got you now.
Are the rear tires on the C7 narrower than its predecessor?
OmnisThen surely those are narrower than the ZO6 and ZR1, right? They don't look as bonkers and meaty in this video as they usually do in person.
Now, all they need is proper DOHC motor
Now, all they need is proper DOHC motor and modern suspension and they'd get my money. They already nailed the looks. Personally I think they really should do homage to the C1 with a 6-cyl version..
