you obviously can't make a difference between a car with useless bodykits, wings and wheels to a true performance car.

sure the viper is faster. but is that little bit more worth the extra $30,000? i think not i'd just as soon pop a supercharger or 2 in my vette and blast any viper on the road. plus i'd still have some green to take mah ***** out for some fun

Personally, I think comparing a Viper to a Corvette is like comparing a Nissan Silvia to a R34 Skyline. While both being sports cars, (using boxing as an example) they're in totally different weight classes. I say that the Corvette is a better bargain, and if you want yor 'vette to smoke a Viper just send it to Ligenfelter (sp?) and drop some turbos in it. Gas mileage doesn't decrease that much,and you'd be spending as much as buying a stock viper.

Sorry mate, but the Viper and the Vette are definitely in exactly the same league!

after doing many of hours of research. Ive concluded the following:

The Viper kills the vette in stats. But the Vette has a better rep. because its been around longer, plus its an American icon.

The Viper and the Vette both look good so they are the same there.

the vette has a better racing history than viper.

and Finally price the Vette is so much cheaper.

So in the End its up to the consumer on which car to buy.

P.S. I still want thought even though my research is coming to an end. This is a good discussion.
