Download the APK file to your computer
connect your phone to your pc, unlock your phone(swipe your screen or your pincode) so your phone memory appears.
Copy the apk file to your phone.( in the main directory or in a folder)
Start up a filemanager on your phone, install the apk (jp.co.polyphony.GTCourseMaker_1.0.0.apk)
When you get the message for third party app or something like that, enable that option.
let it install (takes a while the apk is 38mb)
after install open en enjoy.

Create a track, then hit export in the upper right, my app directed me to the login for psn, log in
the app exports to your psn account.
start up GT6, go to the right (the new coursemaker import icon) and get your file
testdrive 1 lap so it unlocks the save option, save the track and it's in your game.
done.
i used a samsung S5
it worked on my xperia e3. thanks!

Thank you for the file, it works perfectly on my htc desire 510.
Even on a 4,5 screen it's ok, since you can zoom as you like. Text isn't too small either.

AS always your directions are easy and to the point. thank you.

Here is my issue, I went to google, DL the APK file, when i clicked on APK it asked what program i wish to use with .apk. this is where I fail. unable to open. No clue what to use.

Also, can I use this program solely on my PC not phone? thank you.

*** done *** was able to DL and use on PC

You don't need to open it on your computer, just transfer it to your phone.

Thank you so much.

I have a couple of galaxy tab2's and a motoX
dropped this into the MotoX and it's so much faster to do everything.

Ok, it's working on my phone too, BUT I can't upload the track because I can't sign in. Actually, I sign in and then it tells me to go back to the app... That is the main problem. When I go back to the course maker it's like nothing happened, so the upload fails. Has Anyone uploaded any track using your phone successfully ?
Edit: the problem is the PlayStation app. Uninstall it and use your web browser to sign in. It worked this way here.

Thanks so much @A.D.I.O.S.

It works fine on my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (Android 4.1.2).

Since the app has zoom the small 4'' screen isn't that much of a problem. With a bit more effort I'm now able to create tracks myself. 👍

Good news, might be useful if anyone else has the same problem. My sd card was interfering with the install, took it out and it installed straight away

To run on my computer, I need to upgrade from Windows Vista, Windows 7, or higher:guilty:

Anyone recommend, free higher version?:)

The app works fine on my LG G3 but i can't sign in!!! The app takes me to the PSN sign in window and when i enter my log in details its says that i have logged in successfully BUT as soon as i return to the track editor app it tells me I'm unable to sign in.

@GT5Apex .. Uninstall the playstation/psn app, the editor tries to log you in with that if you have it, but then fails to recognize the login. It needs to login via the browser to work. 👍

If you have a tablet you can use ES File Explorer to transfer the APK to your phone. Track path editor is running on my note 4 after transferring it from my nexus 7.

It should work on any OS.....

like this.....
Mine is running on XP.

But....

The .apk will not do anything on the PC as is, you need to download an Android emulator like BlueStacks and install that first, then when it is up and running you can install the app inside that.

ALSO.... You need to have a processor/motherboard that supports VT-x for the emulators to work.

And if you have those, check to be sure that VT-x is ENABLED in the bios.

👍

I see a lot of people on forums still complain over "exclusivity - tablets only", despite this and some others topics which give you solution how to run this app on just about any device, but your grandmas phone

Can mods put this topic in a "sticky" or/and maybe change a topics name to something like "A minute solution for no tablets users" or do a "news" and point a link to this topics, because the way things are here on GTP, ignorant are more likely to spend their time complaining about tablets only thing (???), than search for this simple solution (.apk).
